NFL 2023 Week 11 Survivor Pool Picks, Predictions

Week 11 Survivor Pool Picks, featuring Fred Warner, Tua Tagovailoa and Amon-Ra St. Brown

The Week 11 slate has several strong survivor pool options if you haven’t used them yet. That’s why we’ll discuss a few contending teams with good matchups, along with some more aggressive options. We’ll finalize our survivor pool analysis in Ryan’s Saturday morning betting preview. You can also check out our survivor pool channel in our free Discord.

Week 11 Survivor Pool Picks

Dallas Cowboys (at Carolina Panthers)

Spread: Cowboys -11

The Carolina Panthers have the worst record in the league, while the Dallas Cowboys have one of the best rosters. The Cowboys have five blowout wins this season, but just one has come on the road. The nightmare scenario for Dallas backers would look a lot like Week 3’s loss in Arizona. Regardless, if you still have the Cowboys available, this is their best matchup through the rest of the year.

Best Remaining Matchups: Week 12 vs. WAS (Thanksgiving)

San Francisco 49ers (vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers)

Spread: 49ers -10.5

The San Francisco 49ers are back on track after demolishing the Jacksonville Jaguars last week. San Francisco has one of the league's best and most complete rosters. They have talent advantages against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in multiple position groups. The 49ers are a reasonably safe survivor option this week, and this is their best home matchup left on the schedule.

Best Remaining Matchups: Week 15 at ARI, Week 17 at WAS

Washington Commanders (vs. New York Giants)

Spread: Commanders -10

The Washington Commanders are not a reliable team, but they are a very playable option this week for two core reasons. First, you are effectively betting against Tommy DeVito’s New York Giants. That alone is a pretty good plan. Second, even if Washington falls behind in this game, Sam Howell has shown he can bring the Commanders back. If you still have Washington available, this is its most playable spot left by a wide margin.

Best Remaining Matchups: None

Detroit Lions (vs. Chicago Bears)

Spread: Lions -9

The Chicago Bears have been a tough out over the last month. They are coming off a long week for this matchup and could get Justin Fields back. Fields isn’t a reliable quarterback, but he raises the ceiling of Chicago’s offense. The Detroit Lions are a solid, well-rounded team, but this could be a messy divisional game. Detroit narrowly edged out the Bears, 31-30, in one of their matchups last year. Detroit is a reasonable play, but this week's slate has a few better options.

Best Remaining Matchups: Week 12 vs. GB (Thanksgiving), Week 15 vs. DEN

Jacksonville Jaguars (vs. Tennessee Titans)

Spread: Jaguars -6.5

The Jacksonville Jaguars were embarrassed against the 49ers, making this a bounce-back spot for Jacksonville. Will Levis has struggled in his last two outings, making the Jaguars an appealing option. The Jaguars have a number of advantages in this matchup, but it could make sense to hold them until Week 17.

Best Remaining Matchups: Week 16 at TB, Week 17 vs. CAR

Houston Texans (vs. Arizona Cardinals)

Spread: Texans -5

C.J. Stroud has been spectacular over the past two weeks, carrying the Houston Texans to victory in both outings. Last week’s win in Cincinnati gives the Texans three victories over teams with winning records. The Arizona Cardinals are a much tougher out now that Kyler Murray is back, making Houston an aggressive but playable option.

Best Remaining Matchups: Week 13 vs. DEN, Week 17 vs. TEN

Los Angeles Chargers (at Green Bay Packers)

Spread: Chargers -3.5

The Los Angeles Chargers are an unreliable team with a premium quarterback; they are not a safe option in survivor. That said, you may have to consider a less-than-ideal option such as Los Angeles on the road at this late juncture. Weather does not look like it will be a major factor in this game, but we’ll revisit that this weekend.

Best Remaining Matchups: Week 13 at NE, Week 14 vs. DEN, Week 15 at LV (TNF)
