2023 Best Ball: Top 250 DraftKings Fantasy Rankings 3.0
Our top 250 DraftKings best ball rankings have a new format. Players are ranked by site average draft position (ADP) and given a 1-5 scale. That ranking indicates Josh Larky and Ryan Reynolds’ interest in that player at current ADP.
You’ll find dozens of player write-ups to provide additional context behind the ratings/rankings process.
The average exposure to a player is about 8.3 percent, taking someone once every 12 drafts. Below, you can see how to translate our rating system into our ideal player exposure.

25 | DeVonta Smith | 25.6 | 3 | Philadelphia Eagles |
Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs
We don’t want to be completely out on Travis Kelce, but we have Tyreek Hill ahead of him in our rankings.
Davante Adams, Las Vegas Raiders
We can’t ignore Davante Adams’ massive volume last year, but the move to Jimmy Garoppolo is a downgrade, and we’re bearish on the Raiders in general. You can get Adams at a slightly better price on Underdog Fantasy.
Garrett Wilson, New York Jets
We prefer Garrett Wilson instead of Adams. We have Wilson in the same relative cluster as Nick Chubb and Saquon Barkley, and we want to be at least even with the field on all of those options.
Tony Pollard, Dallas Cowboys
If Dallas adds a quality veteran runner like Dalvin Cook, Tony Pollard’s ADP will likely slide. For now, he’s an excellent buy at current cost.
Chris Olave, New Orleans Saints
We are generally bullish on Chris Olave, and he’s nearly a half a round cheaper on DraftKings than he is on Underdog.
Players 26-50

29 | Mark Andrews | 29.7 | 3 | Baltimore Ravens |
30 | DK Metcalf | 30.5 | 3 | Seattle Seahawks |
31 | Keenan Allen | 32.4 | 3 | Los Angeles Chargers |
32 | Lamar Jackson | 32.5 | 3 | Baltimore Ravens |

47 | Christian Watson | 48.3 | 3 | Green Bay Packers |
48 | Mike Williams | 48.5 | 2.5 | Los Angeles Chargers |
49 | Kenneth Walker III | 48.6 | 3 | Seattle Seahawks |
50 | Justin Herbert | 50.2 | 3 | Los Angeles Chargers |
Breece Hall, New York Jets
Injury uncertainty is the reason Breece Hall isn’t at least a borderline first-round pick. Injury reports have been largely positive up to this point in the offseason, so we want to bet on Hall’s upside.
Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals
Reynolds thinks Joe Burrow will be this year’s MVP, but Burrow is more expensive on DraftKings than he is on Underdog.
Justin Fields, Chicago Bears
Similar to Burrow, Justin Fields is a better value on Underdog than he is on DraftKings.
Joe Mixon, Cincinnati Bengals
The price disparity trend continues as Joe Mixon is a better value on DraftKings than he is on Underdog.
DeAndre Hopkins, Free Agent
Now that the Titans are the favorite in betting markets to land DeAndre Hopkins, our fantasy interest in him is on hold for the moment.

65 | Miles Sanders | 66 | 2.5 | Carolina Panthers |
66 | Marquise Brown | 66.5 | 3 | Arizona Cardinals |
67 | Dallas Goedert | 67.4 | 2 | Philadelphia Eagles |
68 | Kadarius Toney | 68.8 | 2.5 | Kansas City Chiefs |
69 | Dameon Pierce | 69.3 | 3 | Houston Texans |
70 | Mike Evans | 71.3 | 3 | Tampa Bay Buccaneers |
71 | Michael Pittman Jr. | 72.3 | 2.5 | Indianapolis Colts |
72 | Kyle Pitts | 73 | 3 | Atlanta Falcons |
73 | Darren Waller | 74.2 | 3 | New York Giants |
74 | Jaxon Smith-Njigba | 75.7 | 3 | Seattle Seahawks |
75 | Gabe Davis | 76.1 | 3 | Buffalo Bills |
Alexander Mattison, Minnesota Vikings
Larky is down on Alexander Mattison, and the window to draft him at a value is long closed.
Miles Sanders, Carolina Panthers
We’re not bullish on Miles Sanders, but we are getting some exposure when he slides, which has been a more frequent occurrence of late.
Marquise Brown, Arizona Cardinals
Keep an eye on Kyler Murray’s injury news over the next few weeks. If anything positive comes out, Marquise Brown’s ADP will begin to rise.
Dallas Goedert, Philadelphia Eagles
In a vacuum, we’d prefer to bet on the upside of Kyle Pitts rather than Dallas Goedert.
Kadarius Toney, Kansas City Chiefs
You could argue Kadarius Toney has the widest range of outcomes in fantasy this season. The floor is absolutely brutal, but Toney’s ceiling in Patrick Mahomes’ offense is high enough that we aren’t going to fade Toney, despite the obvious downside.
Players 76-100
Rank | Player Name | ADP | Rating | Team |
76 | James Conner | 76.4 | 2.5 | Arizona Cardinals |
77 | Treylon Burks | 77.8 | 3 | Tennessee Titans |
78 | Dalvin Cook | 77.9 | 2.5 | Free Agent |
79 | Jordan Addison | 79.8 | 3 | Minnesota Vikings |
80 | Rachaad White | 80.2 | 3 | Tampa Bay Buccaneers |
81 | George Pickens | 81.1 | 2.5 | Pittsburgh Steelers |
82 | Isiah Pacheco | 82.7 | 2.5 | Kansas City Chiefs |

87 | Brandin Cooks | 86.9 | 3 | Dallas Cowboys |
88 | David Montgomery | 87.3 | 4.5 | Detroit Lions |
89 | Evan Engram | 87.6 | 2.5 | Jacksonville Jaguars |
90 | Quentin Johnston | 89.6 | 3 | Los Angeles Chargers |
91 | Dak Prescott | 89.7 | 2.5 | Dallas Cowboys |
92 | Javonte Williams | 92.3 | 2 | Denver Broncos |
93 | James Cook | 93.4 | 3 | Buffalo Bills |
94 | Courtland Sutton | 94.5 | 2.5 | Denver Broncos |
95 | Kirk Cousins | 96.1 | 3 | Minnesota Vikings |
96 | Elijah Moore | 97.1 | 3.5 | Cleveland Browns |
97 | Michael Thomas | 97.2 | 2.5 | New Orleans Saints |
98 | Odell Beckham Jr. | 98.5 | 2 | Baltimore Ravens |
99 | Zay Flowers | 101.5 | 2.5 | Baltimore Ravens |
100 | David Njoku | 102.6 | 3 | Cleveland Browns |
James Conner, Arizona Cardinals
Without Murray, James Conner will be the lead back in a new offense — with the worst quarterback situation in the league to start the season. We’re not overly enthusiastic about that situation.
Dalvin Cook, Free Agent
If you’re going to draft Dalvin Cook before he signs, you’re better off targeting him in Underdog drafts at current costs.
Deshaun Watson, Cleveland Browns
When Deshaun Watson returned from suspension late last season, he was terrible. If that’s the new reality, he’ll bomb at his current ADP. However, if Watson returns to form, he’ll be an absolute steal at his current ADP. We’re willing to take that chance.
David Montgomery, Detriot Lions
Both Larky and Reynolds are sky-high on David Montgomery, who is almost a full-round value on DraftKings currently.
Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys
If you’re going to target Dak Prescott, you can usually get him at least a round cheaper on Underdog.
Players 101-125
Rank | Player Name | ADP | Rating | Team |
101 | Samaje Perine | 102.7 | 3.5 | Denver Broncos |
102 | Brian Robinson Jr. | 104 | 2.5 | Washington Commanders |
103 | Anthony Richardson | 104.7 | 3 | Indianapolis Colts |
104 | Rashod Bateman | 105.3 | 3 | Baltimore Ravens |
105 | Daniel Jones | 105.5 | 3.5 | New York Giants |
106 | Antonio Gibson | 106.6 | 3 | Washington Commanders |
107 | AJ Dillon | 107.2 | 3 | Green Bay Packers |
108 | Allen Lazard | 107.9 | 2.5 | New York Jets |
109 | Geno Smith | 108.3 | 3 | Seattle Seahawks |
110 | Pat Freiermuth | 110.1 | 3 | Pittsburgh Steelers |
111 | Aaron Rodgers | 110.7 | 3 | New York Jets |
112 | Zach Charbonnet | 113.2 | 4 | Seattle Seahawks |
113 | Jared Goff | 113.9 | 3 | Detroit Lions |
114 | Jameson Williams | 114.6 | 4 | Detroit Lions |
115 | Zay Jones | 115.1 | 2.5 | Jacksonville Jaguars |
116 | Jerick McKinnon | 116.1 | 2.5 | Kansas City Chiefs |
117 | Tyler Boyd | 116.7 | 2.5 | Cincinnati Bengals |
118 | Jamaal Williams | 117.8 | 3 | New Orleans Saints |
119 | Dalton Schultz | 120 | 2.5 | Houston Texans |
120 | De'Von Achane | 120.3 | 2.5 | Miami Dolphins |
121 | Khalil Herbert | 120.9 | 2.5 | Chicago Bears |
122 | Russell Wilson | 121.6 | 3 | Denver Broncos |
123 | Romeo Doubs | 122.8 | 2.5 | Green Bay Packers |
124 | Rashaad Penny | 124.2 | 3 | Philadelphia Eagles |
125 | Dalton Kincaid | 125.5 | 2.5 | Buffalo Bills |
Brian Robinson Jr., Washington Commanders
Brian Robinson Jr. only had 12 targets last year, making him a better fit for Underdog’s half-PPR format.
Daniel Jones, New York Giants
When you pair Daniel Jones’ rushing upside with the Giants’ quality coaching staff and improved offensive weapons, there’s a clear path to improvement for Jones.
Zach Charbonnet, Seattle Seahawks
We’re generally interested in Zach Charbonnet, but you can consistently get him at least a round cheaper on DraftKings than you can on Underdog.
Jameson Williams, Detriot Lions
Jameson Williams will miss the first six weeks due to suspension, but the former first-rounder is a premium talent in a high-performing offense. You can get him at least a round cheaper on DraftKings than Underdog.
Rashaad Penny, Philadelphia Eagles
D’Andre Swift is going more than a round earlier on DraftKings than he is on Underdog. That means we’re targeting Rashaad Penny more often on DraftKings when we want a share of the Eagles’ running back room.
Players 126-150
Rank | Player Name | ADP | Rating | Team |
126 | Rondale Moore | 126.9 | 3 | Arizona Cardinals |
127 | Skyy Moore | 127.6 | 3 | Kansas City Chiefs |
128 | JuJu Smith-Schuster | 129.8 | 3 | New England Patriots |
129 | Damien Harris | 130.1 | 3.5 | Buffalo Bills |
130 | Greg Dulcich | 130.5 | 3 | Denver Broncos |
131 | Nico Collins | 130.6 | 3 | Houston Texans |
132 | Jakobi Meyers | 131.7 | 3 | Las Vegas Raiders |
133 | Elijah Mitchell | 132.6 | 3 | San Francisco 49ers |
134 | Derek Carr | 133.5 | 3 | New Orleans Saints |
135 | Chig Okonkwo | 133.9 | 2.5 | Tennessee Saints |
136 | K.J. Osborn | 136.6 | 2.5 | Minnesota Vikings |
137 | Adam Thielen | 137.3 | 2 | Carolina Panthers |
138 | Tyler Higbee | 138.2 | 3 | Los Angeles Rams |
139 | Cole Kmet | 141.6 | 2 | Chicago Bears |
140 | Jaylen Warren | 141.8 | 3 | Pittsburgh Steelers |
141 | Michael Gallup | 142 | 3 | Dallas Cowboys |
142 | Matthew Stafford | 142.4 | 3 | Los Angeles Rams |
143 | Tank Bigsby | 144.7 | 3 | Jacksonville Jaguars |
144 | Gerald Everett | 144.8 | 2.5 | Los Angeles Chargers |
145 | Jordan Love | 145.5 | 2.5 | Green Bay Packers |
146 | Tyler Allgeier | 146.3 | 3 | Atlanta Falcons |
147 | Darnell Mooney | 147.1 | 3 | Chicago Bears |
148 | Kyler Murray | 149.9 | 3 | Arizona Cardinals |
149 | Sam LaPorta | 151.1 | 3 | Detroit Lions |
150 | Rashee Rice | 151.2 | 3 | Kansas City Chiefs |
Damien Harris, Buffalo Bills
Damien Harris is a better fit in Underdog’s half-PPR format, but he’s still a solid value on DraftKings.
Nico Collins, Houston Texans
The Texans’ wide receiver room is the worst in the league, but Nico Collins has the clearest path to being the top option in that offense.
Gerald Everett, Los Angeles Chargers
We like this Chargers tight end, but you can get Gerald Everett at a better value on Underdog.
Darnell Mooney, Chicago Bears
If you’re going to target Darnell Mooney, he’s usually at least a round cheaper on DraftKings.
Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals
Now that we’re getting closer to training camp, be sure to keep an eye out for injury news on Murray. Positive reports could result in his ADP skyrocketing.
Players 151-175
Rank | Player Name | ADP | Rating | Team |
151 | Isaiah Hodgins | 152.2 | 3 | New York Giants |
152 | D'Onta Foreman | 152.6 | 3 | Chicago Bears |
153 | Kenny Pickett | 153 | 3 | Pittsburgh Steelers |
154 | Marquez Valdes-Scantling | 154.1 | 3 | Kansas City Chiefs |
155 | Irv Smith Jr. | 155 | 2.5 | Cincinnati Bengals |
156 | Taysom Hill | 157.1 | 3 | New Orleans Saints |
157 | Jonathan Mingo | 157.3 | 4 | Carolina Panthers |
158 | Kendre Miller | 158.2 | 4 | New Orleans Saints |
159 | Raheem Mostert | 158.2 | 2 | Miami Dolphins |
160 | Bryce Young | 159.5 | 2.5 | Carolina Panthers |
161 | Donovan Peoples-Jones | 159.8 | 2.5 | Cleveland Browns |
162 | Van Jefferson | 160.6 | 2.5 | Los Angeles Rams |
163 | Brock Purdy | 161.3 | 3 | San Francisco 49ers |
164 | DJ Chark Jr. | 164.1 | 3.5 | Carolina Panthers |
165 | Devin Singletary | 164.8 | 3 | Houston Texans |
166 | Roschon Johnson | 167.9 | 3.5 | Chicago Bears |
167 | Kenneth Gainwell | 168.9 | 3 | Philadelphia Eagles |
168 | Juwan Johnson | 169.2 | 4 | New Orleans Saints |
169 | Curtis Samuel | 170 | 3 | Washington Commanders |
170 | C.J. Stroud | 170.7 | 2.5 | Houston Texans |
171 | Alec Pierce | 171.7 | 2.5 | Indianapolis Colts |
172 | Jerome Ford | 174.3 | 2.5 | Cleveland Browns |
173 | Dawson Knox | 174.5 | 2.5 | Buffalo Bills |
174 | Ezekiel Elliott | 176.1 | 2 | Free Agent |
175 | Tyjae Spears | 176.8 | 3 | Tennessee Titans |
Jonathan Mingo, Carolina Panthers
The Panthers have a weak enough wide receiver room that Jonathan Mingo could rise to the top. You can get him at a considerable value on DraftKings.
Kendre Miller, New Orleans Saints
With Alvin Kamara potentially facing suspension, Kendre Miller could see significant work early in the year. You can still get Miller at a value on DraftKings.
Raheem Mostert, Miami Dolphins
If Cook signs in Miami, that would torpedo Raheem Mostert’s fantasy value.
Roschon Johnson, Chicago Bears
We want some exposure to all three Bears running backs, but Roschon Johnson is our preferred target in full-PPR.
Juwan Johnson, New Orleans Saints
Michael Thomas has played 10 games in three years. If that unfortunate trend continues for Thomas, Juwan Johnson will be one of the primary beneficiaries.
Players 176-200
Rank | Player Name | ADP | Rating | Team |
176 | Rashid Shaheed | 178 | 2 | New Orleans Saints |
177 | Sam Howell | 178.5 | 2.5 | Washington Commanders |
178 | Mike Gesicki | 179.8 | 3 | New England Patriots |
179 | Marvin Mims Jr. | 180 | 3 | Denver Broncos |
180 | Hunter Renfrow | 180.7 | 3 | Las Vegas Raiders |
181 | Jeff Wilson Jr. | 182.3 | 3.5 | Miami Dolphins |
182 | Mac Jones | 183.6 | 2.5 | New England Patriots |
183 | Jayden Reed | 184.9 | 2.5 | Green Bay Packers |
184 | Chuba Hubbard | 185.9 | 3 | Carolina Panthers |
185 | Michael Mayer | 186 | 2.5 | Las Vegas Raiders |
186 | Jalin Hyatt | 186.6 | 2 | New York Giants |
187 | Cordarrelle Patterson | 188.2 | 1.5 | Atlanta Falcons |
188 | Parris Campbell | 188.7 | 3 | New York Giants |
189 | Gus Edwards | 190.1 | 2.5 | Baltimore Ravens |
190 | Tyquan Thornton | 190.8 | 3 | New England Patriots |
191 | Tyler Conklin | 192.1 | 4 | New York Jets |
192 | Desmond Ridder | 192.4 | 2.5 | Atlanta Falcons |
193 | John Metchie III | 192.7 | 2.5 | Houston Texans |
194 | Tim Patrick | 193.6 | 3 | Denver Broncos |
195 | Jimmy Garoppolo | 194.3 | 2 | Las Vegas Raiders |
196 | Chase Brown | 194.6 | 2.5 | Cincinnati Bengals |
197 | Hayden Hurst | 194.8 | 3 | Carolina Panthers |
198 | Richie James Jr. | 198.6 | 2 | Kansas City Chiefs |
199 | Khalil Shakir | 200.4 | 2 | Buffalo Bills |
200 | Ty Chandler | 200.4 | 3.5 | Minnesota Vikings |
Sam Howell, Washington Commanders
We want some Sam Howell exposure given his rushing upside and Washington’s talented pass catchers. However, there’s a real chance Jacoby Brissett takes over if the Commanders get off to a slow start.
Jeff Wilson Jr., Miami Dolphins
If Cook does not sign with the Dolphins, Jeff Wilson Jr. will be an absolute steal at current costs.
Cordarrelle Patterson, Atlanta Falcons
We’re Cordarrelle Patterson enthusiasts, but the Falcons have a crowded backfield where Patterson’s role could be limited. In fact, Patterson may need to see significant time at wide receiver to have any real fantasy value.
Tyler Conklin, Minnesota Vikings
We’ve been bullish on Tyler Conklin all offseason, and that hasn’t changed.
Ty Chandler, Minnesota Vikings
If you’re not interested in drafting Mattison at his current costs, Ty Chandler looks like his primary handcuff and is still consistently available at the end of drafts.
Players 201-225

201 | Isaiah Likely | 202.2 | 2.5 | Baltimore Ravens |

224 | Zamir White | 220.7 | 4 | Las Vegas Raiders |
225 | Josh Downs | 221.5 | 2.5 | Indianapolis Colts |
Darius Slayton, New York Giants
Darius Slayton is one of the last wide receivers available with real spike-week potential.
Robert Woods, Houston Texans
If you’re going to take Robert Woods, he’s a better fit in full PPR.
Kareem Hunt, Free Agent
We’ve had no interest in Kareem Hunt all offseason, and that stance hasn’t changed.
Ryan Tannehill, Tennessee Titans
With DeAndre Hopkins potentially coming to town, Ryan Tannehill’s ADP could skyrocket sooner than later.
Trey Lance, San Francisco 49ers
We’ve been below market on Trey Lance all offseason. If you’re a high-volume drafter, it could make sense to still take some Lance at the end of drafts given San Francisco’s elite supporting cast. If Lance plays, he could be a factor in fantasy. That said, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Lance didn’t see meaningful playing time this season.

Michael Carter, New York Jets
If Hall starts trending toward missing the beginning of the season, we’ll start targeting Michael Carter late in drafts.
Tank Dell, Houston Texans
Houston might be the only team in the league where Tank Dell could potentially see some meaningful playing time early this season.
Trey Sermon, Philadelphia Eagles
Now that training camp is drawing near, keep an eye out for any positive news on Trey Sermon. If we see something meaningful on this front, we’ll drop it in our Discord.
Latavius Murray, Buffalo Bills
Consider Latavius Murray the fourth option in Buffalo’s backfield and Harris’s handcuff.
Malik Davis, Dallas Cowboys
Unless Dallas signs a quality veteran running back, Malik Davis looks like the supplemental back and primary handcuff to Pollard. That upside has us willing to swing and miss at the end of drafts.
