NFL 2023 Week 12 Survivor Pool Picks, Predictions

Survivor Pool Amon-Ra St. Brown Dak Prescott Christian McCaffrey

The Week 12 slate has several strong survivor pool options if you haven’t used them yet. That’s why we’ll discuss a few contending teams with good matchups and some more aggressive options. We’ll finalize our survivor pool analysis in Ryan Reynolds' Saturday morning betting preview. You can also check out our survivor pool channel in our free Discord if you’re playing a team on Thanksgiving.

Week 12 Survivor Pool Picks

Dallas Cowboys (vs. Washington Commanders)

Spread: Cowboys -11

If you’ve saved the Dallas Cowboys this long, this is their best spot for the rest of the season. While you can expect the Washington Commanders to have a stronger outing after their embarrassing loss to the New York Giants on Sunday, the Cowboys' pass rush has a significant advantage in this contest.

Dak Prescott’s passing attack could also have a field day against Washington’s beatable secondary. From a pure talent standpoint, Dallas has multiple paths to victory in this matchup.

Best Remaining Matchups: Week 13 vs. SEA (TNF), Week 18 at WAS

Kansas City Chiefs (at Las Vegas Raiders)

Spread: Chiefs -10

The Kansas City Chiefs have several strong matchups through the rest of the season. As long as Patrick Mahomes is active, it’s hard to see his Chiefs losing any of these matchups.

Best Remaining Matchups: Week 13 at GB (SNF), Week 15 at NE (MNF), Week 16 vs. LV, Week 17 vs. CIN

Detroit Lions (VS. Green Bay Packers)

Spread: Lions -7.5

The Detroit Lions have a number of mediocre opponents left on the schedule. The Green Bay Packers have the worst record and are the least reliable of that group. Anything can happen in division games, but the Packers are the softest opponent left for Detroit.

Best Remaining Matchups: Week 13 at NO, Week 14 at CHI, Week 15 vs. DEN

Miami Dolphins (at New York Jets)

Spread: Dolphins -7

The Miami Dolphins’ offense surprisingly struggled against the Las Vegas Raiders last week. In most scenarios, we’d prefer to hold the Dolphins until their offense is firing on all cylinders again.

Best Remaining Matchups: Week 13 at WAS, Week 14 vs. TEN (MNF), Week 15 vs. NYJ

San Francisco 49ers (at Seattle Seahawks)

Spread: 49ers -7

We’d prefer to hold the San Francisco 49ers for a game that isn’t on a short week. That said, the 49ers are viable this week, especially if Geno Smith misses this matchup.

Best Remaining Matchups: Week 14 vs. SEA, Week 15 at ARZ, Week 17 at WASH, Week 18 vs. LAR

Pittsburgh Steelers (at Cincinnati Bengals)

Spread: Steelers +1

With Joe Burrow out and Jake Browning in, the Cincinnati Bengals are an entirely different team. The Pittsburgh Steelers are not a safe option, but they are worth considering against Browning.

Best Remaining Matchups: Week 14 vs. NE (TNF), Week 16 vs. CIN

Tennessee Titans (vs. Carolina Panthers)

Spread: Titans -4

This is a battle between extremely unreliable teams with rookie quarterbacks. It’s late in the year, so you might have to use an unreliable team if you’ve used the top options on this slate. That said, we’d prefer to avoid this contest completely in survivor, if possible. As things stand early this week, consider the Tennessee Titans a last-resort option.

Best Remaining Matchups: None

New England Patriots (at New York Giants)

Spread: Patriots -3.5

Once again, you may need to use an unreliable option in certain situations. In this matchup, you’re getting Bill Belichick off a bye against Tommy Devito. That’s a positive, but the New England Patriots’ offense is among the most untrustworthy in the league.

Best Remaining Matchups: None
