Samantha Previte

Samantha is a fantasy and betting analyst for The 33rd Team.

Samantha graduated from McGill University in Quebec with a joint degree in biology and math. She wields her lifelong passion for math and sports to digest/analyze data and distill insights into actionable fantasy football and betting advice.

After college (and abandoning her goal of becoming a doctor), she began her career in political consulting and joined her first fantasy football league — though her passion for sports roots much deeper than that. As a child raised in New England, Samantha was an avid (and insufferable) New York Yankees fan who dreamed of being the next John Sterling. She pretended to commentate games, saved her allowance for the MLB package all year, begged her parents to take her to spring training and owned a life-size cutout of Derek Jeter.

While working as the director of analytics at The New York Post, Samantha began moonlighting on the sports desk as a hobby. She has over 700 bylines on The New York Post and its affiliates and another 336 on The Action Network — for whom she worked for two years.

Samantha writes a weekly "Love Hate" fantasy article for The 33rd Team and appears on video previewing one game on each week's slate. She also appears weekly on KOA Colorado (AM 850) and is a frequent guest on other notable shows.

When she is not tilting over lineup decisions or a Desmond Ridder rushing yard under, you can find her on Twitter @SamanthaNFL, on TikTok/Instagram @sprevite or teaching skiing and snowboarding in beautiful Breckenridge, Colorado.
