NFL 2023 Week 13 Survivor Pool Picks, Predictions

Week 13 Survivor Pool Picks
Miami Dolphins (at Washington Commanders)
Spread: Dolphins -9
The Miami Dolphins’ defense continues to improve every week, making Miami a more balanced team. However, the Dolphins’ passing attack against the Washington Commanders’ Swiss cheese pass defense is the main draw here.
Best Remaining Matchups: Week 14 vs. TEN (MNF), Week 15 vs. NYJ
Jacksonville Jaguars (vs. Cincinnati Bengals)
Spread: Jaguars +7.5
The Cincinnati Bengals are not a very good team without Joe Burrow, plain and simple. This week, the Jacksonville Jaguars against Jake Browning might be the “safest” survivor option. If you still have Jacksonville available, your biggest decision this week is whether you play the team now or hold it until Week 17.
Best Remaining Matchups: Week 17 vs. CAR
Dallas Cowboys (vs. Seattle Seahawks)
Spread: Cowboys -7
You’ve probably used the Dallas Cowboys by now, but just in case you haven’t, they are very playable against the struggling Seattle Seahawks. Your biggest concern in this matchup is that the Seahawks are coming off a long week and are the more desperate team. If you’re holding Dallas until Week 18, you have to be concerned about whether or not the Cowboys rest players.
Best Remaining Matchups: Week 18 at WAS
Kansas City Chiefs (at Green Bay Packers)
Spread: Chiefs -7
The Green Bay Packers put themselves in the NFC Wild Card picture with their great showing in Detroit on Thanksgiving. Last week, Patrick Mahomes against the Las Vegas Raiders was a “safer” matchup than this one, but it’s hard to see the Kansas City Chiefs losing to Green Bay. More specifically, it’s hard to see Jordan Love out-dueling Mahomes.
Best Remaining Matchups: Week 15 at NE (MNF), Week 16 vs. LV, Week 17 vs. CIN
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (vs. Carolina Panthers)
Spread: Buccaneers -6
Baker Mayfield's Tampa Bay Buccaneers are the furthest thing from reliable. That said, we’re late in the year, and we all have to take some chances to get to the end in survivor. This is more of a bet against the Carolina Panthers than one on Tampa Bay.
Best Remaining Matchups: Week 18 at CAR
Pittsburgh Steelers (vs. Arizona Cardinals)
Spread: Steelers -6
Kenny Pickett’s offense didn’t improve in its first outing without former OC Matt Canada, and the Pittsburgh Steelers continue to be carried by their defense. The Steelers are playable here against an Arizona Cardinals team almost entirely reliant on Kyler Murray. Pittsburgh has two more very usable home matchups in the near future against much weaker quarterbacks.
Best Remaining Matchups: Week 14 vs. NE (TNF), Week 16 vs. CIN
Los Angeles Rams (vs. Cleveland Browns)
Spread: Rams -4.5
The Cleveland Browns have one of the worst offenses in the league right now, but their defense can win this game on its own. If you’re going to use the Los Angeles Rams, you’re better off targeting their Week 15 or 17 matchups.
Best Remaining Matchups: Wee 15 vs. WAS, Week 17 at NYG
