Kyler Murray Expected To Start In Week 10
Arizona Cardinals coach Jonathan Gannon announced on Monday that Kyler Murray will start in Week 10 against the Atlanta Falcons as long as there are no setbacks.
Murray tore his ACL in Week 13 of last season against the New England Patriots. He threw for 2,368 yards with 14 touchdowns and seven interceptions in 11 games. Sunday's game would mark 335 days since the injury.
Arizona started Joshua Dobbs for the first eight games of the season and had rookie Clayton Tune start this past week in a shutout loss to the Cleveland Browns.
The Cardinals are 1-8, the worst record in the NFL, and would have the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. They signed Murray to a five-year extension worth $230.5 million in July of 2022. — 5:11 p.m.
