Giants Fear QB Daniel Jones Suffered Torn ACL
The New York Giants fear quarterback Daniel Jones suffered a torn ACL during Sunday's game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Jones, who just returned after missing three games with a neck injury, had his right knee buckle on a drop back near the end of the first quarter.
Undrafted rookie Tommy Devito replaced him and finished the game 15-of-20 for 175 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions.
Tyrod Taylor was placed on injured reserve this weekend with a rib injury. The Giants did sign veteran Matt Barkley to the practice squad this past week. — 7:45 p.m.

Vikings Fear Cam Akers Has Achilles Tear
Minnesota Vikings RB Cam Akers is feared to have suffered a torn Achilles during Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons.
Akers had eight carries for 25 yards and three catches for 13 yards before suffering the injury. Minnesota acquired Akers in a trade with the Rams in late September. He's in the final year of his rookie contract.
Akers also tore his Achilles in 2021 and made it back for the Rams' Super Bowl run after undergoing the same surgery Aaron Rodgers just had with the Jets.
This is the second straight week the Vikings have had a player suffer a torn Achilles after Kirk Cousins had it last week. — 5:00 p.m.
