Rookie Ridder Perfect on Opening Drive
Desmond Ridder took over for Marcus Mariota in the second quarter and was a perfect 7 of 7 passing on his first drive of the game. The drive went 68 yards, but stalled at the goal line after a penalty by offensive tackle Jalen Mayfield. Younghoe Koo finished things off with a field goal.

Mariota Goes Up Top to Kyle Pitts for 52
Atlanta came away with only a field goal, but early returns from the Falcons' offense is that QB Marcus Mariota and TE Kyle Pitts may have some chemistry—especially when it comes to taking the top off the defense.
Mariota left the game in the second quarter as rookie Desmond Ridder took over. Mariota finished 6 of 10 passing for 132 yards and a touchdown for a 137.5 rating.
