Packers-Lions Game on SNF as NFL Releases Full Week 18 Schedule

Aaron Jones vs. Lions / Cinderella Packers Lions

The 2022 NFL season could end with an NFC playoff play-in between the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers.

The league on Monday announced the full slate of Sunday's games, one day after scheduling Saturday's two games.

The Packers, who have won four in a row to resurrect their season after a 4-8 start, will play host to the Lions, who have gone 7-2 since their 1-6 beginning, on Sunday Night Football on NBC. For Green Bay, win and it's in as the NFC's seventh seed. Detroit needs to win and have the Rams upset the Seahawks in Sunday afternoon's late window to gain the wild-card spot.

The AFC's final playoff berth also is in play, with the Patriots, Dolphins, Steelers and possibly the Jaguars in the hunt.

The Jaguars play host to the Titans on Saturday night (8:15 p.m. on ESPN/ABC), and the winner of that game will wear the AFC South's crown and earn the conference's fourth seed. The Chiefs, who are in the running for the AFC's top seed, travel to Las Vegas in Saturday's afternoon game (4:30 p.m. ET on ESPN/ABC).

Several other storylines exist in Week 18, mostly centering around playoff positioning. Can the Philadelphia Eagles hang on to the NFC's top spot? Will the 49ers leapfrog them? Will the Bills, or even the Bengals, (the two teams played Monday night) overtake the Chiefs? Who will win the AFC North?

The season's final weekend promises plenty of drama.
