Week 8 College Football PrizePicks Player Props

Week 8 of college football season is upon us. Over on PrizePicks, there are some good lines to take advantage of. These are the lines I will utilize in a 4 Pick Power Play this week and the reasoning for them! If you have any questions feel free to reach out on our Discord

Phil Jurkovec (Boston College, QB) Over 200.5 Yards Passing

  • Boston College is 20.5 point underdog, and that negative game script should give Jurkovec plenty of passing opportunities.
  • Jurkovec averages 7.02 yards per passing attempt this season.
  • Wake Forest gives up 8.17 yards per passing attempt.
  • Wide receiver Zay Flowers is an intriguing pairing, but no need to chase over on the 82.5 receiving total.

Zach Evans (Mississippi, RB) Over 80.5 Yards Rushing

  • The Rebels are running the ball more than 45 times a game. Against Auburn last weekend, they ran it more than 60 times.
  • Evans is in a timeshare with Quinshon Judkins but gets enough volume and is the starter for this offense.
  • LSU has given up more than five yards a carry in back-to-back games, and coach Lane Kiffin will exploit that with these running backs.

Marshawn Lloyd (South Carolina, RB) Over 61.5 Yards Rushing

  • Lloyd has earned a more significant role in this offense and had 22 carries on the road against Kentucky in South Carolina’s last game.
  • Texas A&M is giving up over five yards a carry against Power 5 opponents and has allowed three SEC schools over 4.5 yards a carry.
  • South Carolina has also had plenty of time to prepare as they are coming off a bye week.

Xazavian Valladay (Arizona State, RB) Over 95.5 Yards Rushing

  • Valladay has hit this over in four of six games this season.
  • The two teams he could not do this against were Utah and USC, who were big-time favorites in their matchup.
  • Stanford has allowed three running backs to go over this number this year, and all three didn’t receive 15 attempts.
  • Stanford is giving up 5.7 yards per carry.
  • This game has a three-point spread and a 54.5-point total.
