Alabama QB Bryce Young Set to Visit Carolina Panthers
Expert Analysis 4/10/23
The 2023 NFL Draft is just a little more than two weeks away, and there is no consensus about which quarterback the Carolina Panthers will select at No. 1. However, Bryce Young (scouting report) will have a pre-draft visit with the team on Tuesday, NFL Media reported on Monday.
The Panthers also met with Young the night before Alabama's Pro Day on March 23. Tuesday's meeting with the Panthers will be Young's second top-30 visit of the cycle, as he met with the Las Vegas Raiders last week.

Carolina has been adamant its evaluation process would be extensive, and meeting with Young a second time indicates it was serious about all options being on the table.
The Panthers' desire to circle back with Young makes sense, considering how much they traded to move up to No. 1. Carolina traded picks No. 9 and No. 61 overall in this year’s draft, a 2024 first-round pick, a 2025 second-round pick and wide receiver D.J. Moore to the Chicago Bears for No. 1 overall.
Young is neck and neck with Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud (scouting report) as the betting favorite to be the first-overall selection. Top-30 visits won't tip the Panthers' hand since they're expected to meet with all four of the top quarterbacks before the NFL Draft begins on April 27.
Florida quarterback Anthony Richardson (scouting report) also will meet with the Panthers this week, NFL Media reported.
