Jets Won't Shop Wilson

The New York Jets are not expected to trade quarterback Zach Wilson this offseason, NFL Media reported. Despite being benched multiple times this season, there is a belief within the organization Wilson will improve during the offseason.

Raiders Will Explore Trade Options for Carr

The Las Vegas Raiders will consider trading Derek Carr likely soon after the Super Bowl, NFL Media reported. The Raiders are likely to move so quickly after the Super Bowl because if Carr is on the roster three days later they'll owe him his $32.9 million base salary for 2023 and an additional $7.5 million of his 2024 base salary.

Carr was benched this week for Jarrett Stidham despite the Raiders still being mathematically alive for a playoff spot. Carr also proceed to leave the team to avoid being a distraction after being benched.

"None of us is happy with where we're at," Raiders coach Josh McDaniels said on Wednesday. "But we think it's an opportunity to evaluate a younger player who hasn't had much time to play. Derek was great. He understands the scenario that we're in."

Giants Expected to Offer Jones, Barkley Multi-Year Contracts

The Giants are expected to try and sign quarterback Daniel Jones and running back Saquon Barkley to multi-year contracts this offseason, NFL Media reported. The organization believes both players have done enough this season to be a part of their plans for 2023 and beyond.

The Giants have a chance to clinch their first playoff berth since 2016 with a win against the Colts on Sunday or losses by both the Commanders and Seahawks.
