The New York Giants announced that undrafted rookie Tommy DeVito will start on Monday night against the Green Bay Packers, despite veteran Tyrod Taylor returning from injured reserve.

DeVito has started each of the last three games and led the team to a 2-1 record while throwing six touchdown passes and only one interception.

Taylor was on injured reserve for the last four weeks after suffering a rib injury. He will serve as DeVito's backup. Starting QB Daniel Jones is out for the season with a torn ACL.

The Giants are 4-8 but are coming off back-to-back wins.
