Former NFL head coach and long-time offensive coordinator Chris Palmer joined the 33rd Team Call this week to break down video of the top wide receivers in the 2021 NFL Draft, and he made sure to take time to include Florida tight end Kyle Pitts.
While acknowledging that some teams are trepidatious about taking a tight end in the first round, Palmer is quick to tell people they should not think of Pitts as a tight end. Think of him as a pass-catcher. And with his combination of size, speed and hands, Pitts may very well be the top pass-catcher in the draft.
