49ers Get Back Key Starters Bosa, Ward, and Williams

San Francisco 49ers Nick Bosa, Jimmie Ward, and Trent Williams have all been announced as active for Week 7, according to NFL Media. Bosa is returning after recovering from groin tightness that resulted in his missing the team's Week 6 matchup against the Houston Texans. Offensive tackle Trent Williams returns after a three-week absence while recovering from a high ankle sprain. However the most surprising return of the trio is defensive back Jimmie Ward, who comes back from a broken hand. Ward suffered the injury on the opening kickoff of the team's Week 5 game against the Carolina Panthers.

The news of their return comes on the heel of the team acquiring All-Pro Christian McCaffrey via trade on Thursday.

Darren Waller Ruled Out for Week 7

Pro Bowl tight end Darren Waller will miss the Las Vegas Raiders' game against the Houston Texans in Week 7, according to the team. Waller has been dealing with a hamstring injury since exiting the team's Week 5 game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Waller has 16 receptions, 175 yards and one touchdown in five games this year.

J.K. Dobbins Expected to Undergo Knee Surgery, Miss 4-6 Weeks

After coming back from a devastating knee injury that sidelined him for all of 2021 and the two games of 2022, J.K. Dobbins reportedly felt his knee "tighten" in last Sunday's game against the New York Giants. Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, Dobbins is expected to undergo arthroscopic surgery on his left knee next week that will sideline him four to six weeks. This is a major setback for the former second-round pick, who was expected to potentially lift the Ravens' rushing attack this season.

Jonathan Taylor Back in Colts' Lineup For Week 7

All-Pro running back Jonathan Taylor will be back in action for the Colts when they face division rival Tennessee this Sunday, per NFL media. After missing the past two games with a shoulder injury, both Taylor and fellow backfield mate Nyheim Hines will be ready to go in what may very well be a pivotal AFC South matchup.

Russell Wilson Questionable For Sunday's Game

Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson has been dealing with a hamstring injury this week, and is now listed as "questionable" for Sunday's game against the Jets. Head coach Nathaniel Hackett said that whether Wilson plays or not will be a game-time decision. Meanwhile, backup quarterback Brett Rypien has been sharing reps with Wilson throughout the week in case he is needed.
