Hurts’ Status for Cowboys Matchup in Doubt
Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts sprained his shoulder in the third quarter of Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears, putting his status for Philadelphia’s critical Week 16 matchup with the Dallas Cowboys in doubt, per NFL Media.
Hurts’ injury is reportedly unlikely to affect him long-term, but if he is unavailable to play against Dallas on Saturday it will have an impact on the NFC playoff race as the Eagles pursue the No. 1 seed.
Taylor Could Miss Rest of Season
Colts running back Jonathan Taylor was diagnosed with a high-ankle sprain following the team’s historic collapse against the Vikings on Saturday, NFL Media reported. Taylor was injured early in the game and never returned to action as he was replaced by Zack Moss and Deon Jackson.
Taylor missed time earlier this season after suffering a sprained ankle against the Titans in Week 4.
Jaguars Lose Starting OT
Jaguars offensive tackle Cam Robinson will likely miss the rest of the season due to a meniscus injury, coach Doug Pederson told reporters. Robinson suffered the injury in the team’s come-from-behind victory against the Cowboys on Sunday.
The Jaguars play on Thursday night with a chance to pull even closer to the Tennessee Titans at the top of the AFC South.
