2025 NFL Mock Draft: Latest First-round Predictions Entering Week 13
Believe it or not, the 2024 college football season has reached the final week of the regular season. With the end of the regular season comes hints at what comes next for the best of the best — All-Star game invitations are being revealed weekly, setting the stage for the winter months and the attentive eyes of NFL scouts and general managers. The league still has about a month and a half before the end of their regular season, but the separation of teams is well underway. Some, such as Detroit, Kansas City, Buffalo, and Philadelphia, are hurtling toward a potential deep playoff run. Others, such as the New York Jets and Giants, have conceded the year — the Giants cut starting quarterback Daniel Jones, and the Jets fired their general manager just a month after firing their head coach.
A word of caution to the teams racing for the No. 1 overall pick. Objects in the mirror are closer than they appear. Jacksonville still must play the Titans twice and the Raiders once. The Giants play two games against teams that entered Week 12 in the top 10 of the draft order. There's a lot of potential disruption in this order before you factor in potential upsets down the stretch.
We take an updated look at the 2025 NFL Draft order and the top prospects eligible for next April.
Latest Top 100 Big Board Rankings
2025 NFL Mock Draft: Round 1
1. Jacksonville Jaguars
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 185 lbs
Class: Junior
Fit: Jacksonville, thanks to its strength of schedule, holds on to its grip on the No. 1 overall pick despite the Giants and Raiders pulling even in the loss column. The Jaguars need big play catalysts and difference makers to help forge the team's identity. They have some good talent, but their team culture seems to have fizzled under Doug Pederson. Adding more raw talent will make the job of the next head coach, whoever he is, that much easier.
Pro Comp: Champ Bailey
2. New York Giants
Cameron Ward, QB, Miami (FL)
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 223 lbs.
Class: Senior
Fit: There's no easier vacancy in football to mock for than the New York Giants and a quarterback. Tommy DeVito getting the call over veteran Drew Lock should tell you quite a bit about New York's end-of-season outlook, and so long as New York finishes in a striking range to land a top quarterback, they will. I am choosing Ward over Sanders for the Giants due to the ceiling as a passer — I think Ward has more at his disposal to tap into with his arm talent and ability outside of structure, even if he leans on it too heavily at this stage of his career.
3. Las Vegas Raiders
Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 215 lbs.
Class: Senior
Fit: The Raiders appeared to be poised to be a part of the quarterback market last year but ultimately found themselves on the outside looking in on a record-setting run on quarterbacks in the 1st-round. They'll avoid that issue in this scenario and get a quarterback with a historic lineage to play for one of the historic franchises, a great fit in more ways than one. Sanders has great field vision and touch, which could help expand the Raiders' passing attack beyond rookie phenom Brock Bowers in the years ahead.
4. New England Patriots
Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona
Height: 6'5"
Weight: 212 lbs.
Class: Junior
Fit: New England's most obvious team needs linger on the offensive side of the ball. Drake Maye has shown plenty of flashes that should have Patriots fans excited. But the team's ability to execute around him and make his life easier is a pretty ugly scene. Who are the route winners? Who are the 50/50 ball targets? Who can win against press? Right now, those answers are pretty incomplete. The good news? Tetairoa McMillan should be able to provide relief on all fronts for the Patriots.
5. Carolina Panthers
Will Johnson, CB, Michigan
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 202 lbs.
Class: Junior
Fit: The Panthers are a team that has plenty of uncertainty on offense. But the value on the board comes up defense. Carolina is in no position to be drafting for need — they have a lot of work to do to get competitive in the NFC. The fastest way to achieve this is by simply hoarding and collecting great players. Will Johnson is exactly that and it can be argued that Carolina is getting him at something of a discount here thanks to a modest junior season in 2024.
6. Tennessee Titans
Abdul Carter, LB, Penn State
Height: 6'3"
Weight: 259 lbs.
Class: Junior
Fit: The Titans entered this season with big expectations for their offense with Brian Callahan at the helm, and expectations have not necessarily been met, although they got a big offensive performance in a Week 12 upset win over the Houston Texans. The trouble with adding to the offense here is that just simply isn't any value, not at wide receiver and not at quarterback. Drafting an offensive talent here is a tough sell. Defensively, Abdul Carter can be a tremendous complement to the core nucleus of talent in Tennessee, however. He can play on the edge opposite Harold Landry and enjoy plenty of one-on-one opportunities thanks to Jeffery Simmons in the middle.
7. New York Jets
Mason Graham, DL, Michigan
Height: 6'3"
Weight: 320 lbs.
Class: Junior
Fit: The New York Jets' identity has betrayed them this season. Among the offensive disappointments and the football operations interruptions, the defense has simply not been the same unit as it has been in years past. The team's bet that Javon Kinlaw would be an impactful sidekick to Quinnen Williams has come up empty. And the depth on the interior is lacking. Mason Graham can solve the depth and impact play issues opposite Quinnen Williams and help give the Jets a defensive tackle duo that is as impressive as their 1-2 punch at cornerback.
8. Cleveland Browns
Height: 6'3"
Weight: 305 lbs.
Class: Junior
Fit: Nolen gets slept on in this defensive tackle class, but it is hard to envision the league not loving his explosiveness, alignment versatility, and disruptive nature. He's looking right at home in one of college football's best defensive fronts at Ole Miss after transferring in from Texas A&M and is surely going to blow up the NFL Combine with his former 5-star athletic tools. The Browns can offer him a home that can also offer him some overwhelmingly disruptive talent around him, leaving him in one-on-one matchups in which his athleticism can truly shine.
9. New Orleans Saints
Shavon Revel, CB, East Carolina
Height: 6'3"
Weight: 193 lbs.
Class: Senior
Fit: Corner again for the Saints after drafting Kool-Aid McKinstry? Why not? The team traded star CB Marshon Lattimore ahead of the trade deadline, and standout Paulson Adebo is on an expiring contract for a team that doesn't look to have a ton of wiggle room for contract extensions. That leaves McKinstry and Alontae Taylor as the two standouts at the position, and Taylor has lived in the nickel for much of his NFL career. That leaves an opportunity for Revel, who has elite physical ability and a tremendous ceiling, to step in and take Lattimore's place.
10. Cincinnati Bengals
Will Campbell, OL, LSU
Height: 6'6"
Weight: 323 lbs.
Class: Junior
Fit: The Bengals' defense has been a big disappointment this season, but they have just watched a big defensive run within the top 10 of this mock draft. Add in the uncertainty with the Bengals' offensive line, and it may be wise for them to go with someone to protect Joe Burrow instead. Campbell may ultimately be a guard at the NFL level, but this is a team that can accommodate him at either spot long-term, and Campbell's physicality would be a welcomed addition to hopefully get the run game going in Cincinnati; they were 27th in attempts and yards and 25th in yards per carry entering Week 12.
11. Dallas Cowboys
Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State
Height: 5'9"
Weight: 215 lbs.
Class: Junior
Fit: There's no need to overthink this pick. Jeanty has been perhaps the best player in college football this year. Dallas has been at its best offensively, with a sound running game to lean on and complement Dak Prescott. They have nothing of the sort this season despite some young offensive line talent. Dallas has the top-10 RB track record in recent history to conjur belief that this can come together in April.
Pro Comp: An angrier DeAngelo Williams
12. Chicago Bears
Kelvin Banks Jr., OT, Texas
Height: 6'4"
Weight: 320 lbs.
Class: Junior
Fit: The Bears lost their fifth consecutive game on Sunday against the Vikings. Although the team's protection was better, the offensive line still feels like the obvious play for getting the environment around Caleb Williams right. The interior situation has been frustrating, and the tackles are more important to a Williams-led offense because of the stress his style of play can place on the edges of the pocket. Banks Jr. has the length and athleticism to be a great combo with Darnell Wright.
13. Indianapolis Colts
Malaki Starks, S, Georgia
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 205 lbs.
Class: Junior
Fit: The Colts' needs in the secondary could go to either cornerback or safety. Malaki Starks is one of the best overall talents on the board, however — which makes him a great value here at No. 13 overall. His versatility helps the Colts to be more multiple on the back end, and they can play matchups more frequently with a safety who can cover in man the way Starks has shown at Georgia.
14. Miami Dolphins
Jalon Walker, LB, Georgia
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 245 lbs.
Class: Junior
Fit: The Miami Dolphins defense is, quietly, on quite the heater. They're 6th in the NFL in yards allowed, tied for 6th in the NFL in offensive touchdowns allowed, are tied for 4th in net yards per attempt allowed, and have achieved all of this despite averaging less than 2 sacks per game and 1 turnover per game in their first 10 games of the season. The team is sorely missing their top pass rushers — Jaelan Phillips is on the shelf with a partially torn ACL suffered in September, and Bradley Chubb is still working his way back from a season-ending injury in 2023. The team's 1st-round draft choice, Chop Robinson, is coming on strong — but Miami needs more depth and versatility on the edge. Few players give more versatility than Jalon Walker, who would be a supercharged version of one of Miami's key role players on the edge this season, Tyus Bowser.
15. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Shemar Stewart, DL, Texas A&M
Height: 6'6"
Weight: 290 lbs.
Class: Junior
Fit: The Bucs have a pretty reliable track record of loving super-physical trench players. Meet the latest — Shemar Stewart. Stewart is an absolute monster with his heavy hands and supreme length; it feels like he's only scratching the surface of what he is capable of as an NFL talent. Putting him in the trenches next to the likes of Vita Vea, Calijah Kancey and Logan Hall would give the Bucs that much more explosiveness and punch at the point.
16. San Francisco 49ers
Height: 6'4"
Weight: 285 lbs.
Class: Junior
Fit: Even if Drake Jackson was healthy, the depth of the defensive front in San Francisco likely still isn't where it should be. The 49ers' identity has been tied to the success of their defense just as much as their offense, and neither group has lived up to expectations this season. With depth an issue and Leonard Floyd entering a contract year in 2025, adding a young and versatile talent to the front like Nic Scourton could help alleviate the pressure on star pass rusher Nick Bosa.
17. Los Angeles Rams
Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan
Height: 6'5"
Weight: 245 lbs.
Class: Junior
Fit: Colston Loveland is just as much a wide receiver as he is a tight end. His alignment versatility and ability to create separation on multiple levels is impressive — and a welcomed potential addition to a Rams offense that was eyeing size & versatility when they explored trading up for Brock Bowers. This could be the next best thing, just a year later.
18. Arizona Cardinals
Kenneth Grant, IDL, Michigan
Height: 6'3"
Weight: 339 lbs.
Class: Junior
Fit: The Cardinals are a scrappy bunch who has a ton of youth and buy-in into the current direction of Coach Jonathan Gannon's vision. They deserve a lot of credit for how they've made a leap in 2024 but they still feel like they're a few key pieces away from being a more complete roster. One such missing piece? A mauler in the middle of the defense allows a fast, physical, and athletic back seven to flow even more freely to the football. Kenneth Grant fits the bill.
19. Atlanta Falcons
James Pearce Jr., EDGE, Tennessee
Height: 6'5"
Weight: 243 lbs.
Class: Junior
Fit: The Falcons have fewer sacks than any other team in the NFL this season. It's been a problem since, well, forever. The Falcons actually have fewer sacks than any franchise going all the way back to 2017 through the present day (224). A dynamic pass rusher like James Pearce Jr. could be just the ticket. He's long, he's explosive, he's laterally dynamic and he'd likely be the best pure pass rusher on Atlanta's roster from Day 1.
20. Seattle Seahawks
Aireontae Ersery, OL, Minnesota
Height: 6'6"
Weight: 330 lbs.
Class: Senior
Fit: Ersery fits the mold of what the Seahawks like on the line — big and physical. He's quite explosive in vertical releases off the line of scrimmage, too, giving him the ability to reset in the run game and stay attached to defensive linemen in zone concepts. Seattle's line is generally unsettled — the issues on the interior this season have been compounded by Connor Williams' unceremonious retirement earlier this month. Ersery gives the team a long-term piece to build around up front.
21. Washington Commanders
Isaiah Bond, WR, Texas
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 180 lbs.
Class: Junior
Fit: Washington has two things to simultaneously tightrope here: further building up their defense for head coach Dan Quinn and giving Jayden Daniels everything he needs to be successful. This pick is more so the latter, but the choice does, in theory, make life easier on the defensive side of the ball, too. Bond has unbelievable separation quickness and can win down the field or win with the ball in his hands. His addition creates dynamic layers to Washington's passing game.
22. Houston Texans
Derrick Harmon, IDL, Oregon
Height: 6'5"
Weight: 310 lbs.
Class: Junior
Fit: The Texans need to play better on either side of the ball in the trenches. Perhaps the most needle-moving addition the team could pursue is a penetration 3-technique. Derrick Harmon is big but twitchy and has a good bit of room to grow to convert his penetration and disruption reps into more consistent production in the backfield.
23. Denver Broncos
Luther Burden, WR, Missouri
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 208 lbs.
Class: Junior
Fit: The Broncos are getting incredible play from rookie QB Bo Nix. He and Sean Payton are clicking on all cylinders. But the Broncos will only get so far with Courtland Sutton commanding more than two times as many targets as the next wide receiver on the roster. Luther Burden is a very different kind of target — he's twitchy, explosive in the open field, and excels when you get the ball in his hands quickly. That's a great foil to Sutton's vertical receiving profile.
24. Baltimore Ravens
Height: 6'3"
Weight: 244 lbs.
Class: Junior
Fit: There have been few risers who have made a bigger impact and impression this season than Jihaad Campbell. The Ravens' defense incurred a number of personnel losses this offseason in addition to their defensive coaching staff departures. Campbell is diverse and capable of playing both stack linebacker and on the edge as a hybrid pass rusher. The Ravens could absolutely use a player of his talents to help bolster their front and pass-rush outlook.
25. Los Angeles Chargers
Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State
Height: 6'6"
Weight: 257 lbs.
Class: Senior
Fit: The Chargers are prospering. So, too, is Tyler Warren. The pairing of this prospect and team is one of my favorite hypotheticals. The Chargers are an offense that plays smash-mouth football, and Warren is uber-physical with and without the football. He has the potential to become a reliable outlet for QB Justin Herbert and his versatility gives him a lot of different ways to impact the game without the football.
26. Pittsburgh Steelers
Trey Amos, CB, Ole Miss
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 190 lbs.
Class: Senior
Fit: The Steelers' defense is one of the better units in all of football, even amid a disappointing showcase in Week 12 on Thursday Night Football. That said, the way the game got away with some big plays in the passing game underscores the opportunity Pittsburgh has to get better defensively: with another quality coverage option. Cornerback Trey Amos is on his third team in as many seasons, balling out at Ole Miss after a one-year stop at Alabama. He's big, explosive and has good ball skills to go with precise feet. It's a good mix of talents that would pair well long-term with Joey Porter Jr.
27. Green Bay Packers
Donovan Ezeiruaku, EDGE, Boston College
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 247 lbs.
Class: Senior
Fit: The Packers have a connection to Ezeiruaku thanks to their defensive coordinator, Jeff Hafley. Hafley was his head coach at Boston College before making the leap to the NFL. Ezeiruaku is making his old coach proud this year at BC; he's put together one of the best pass rush reels and resumes in the country. That's a welcomed addition to the Packers' defense, especially after the team moved on from Preston Smith at the trade deadline.
28. Philadelphia Eagles
Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia
Height: 6'5"
Weight: 265 lbs.
Class: Junior
Fit: The Eagles are a team that just can't get enough of pass rushers. Howie Roseman loves to draft them and the Eagles have had great success developing them. Few have a higher ceiling than Mykel Williams, whose length and explosiveness are a first-class ticket to opportunities in the NFL. Philly has the right mix of veterans and player development to help see this Georgia Bulldog through to his best self. And, of course, we all know how Howie feels about drafting Georgia Bulldogs after adding Jalen Carter, Nolan Smith and Jordan Davis to their front in recent memory.
29. Buffalo Bills
Landon Jackson, DL, Arkansas
Height: 6'7"
Weight: 280 lbs.
Class: Senior
Fit: Buffalo loves a big, long, heavy-handed defensive lineman. Landon Jackson isn't the most explosive, nor is he the most fluid or flexible. But he collapses angles with great consistency and has shown tremendous growth with his pass rush plan over the last two years. Buffalo would have a great pairing with Jackson and Gregory Rousseau to have a clear identity with who is playing on the edge and how that impacts the fronts Buffalo embraces defensively.
30. Minnesota Vikings
Mansoor Delane, CB, Virginia Tech
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 187 lbs.
Class: Junior
Fit: Minnesota recently conceded and took the 'L' on their 2022 draft investment in Akayleb Evans at cornerback. Stephon Gilmore is a great short-term answer but his long-term viability as an older corner leaves room for a new addition to this room in Brian Flores' defense. Mansoor Delane has the ball skills and aggressiveness to be a wonderful fit in a scheme that allows their corners to play forward and trusts them to make instinctive keys on the football.
31. Kansas City Chiefs
Cameron Williams, OL, Texas
Height: 6'5"
Weight: 335 lbs.
Class: Junior
Fit: The Chiefs have a big expiring contract in Trey Smith this offseason. After paying Creed Humphrey and already having Joe Thuney on a big money contract, will they pay yet another lineman? Or perhaps they do with the intention of getting out of the Jawaan Taylor contract after the 2025 season? Either way, Texas lineman Cameron Williams would help preserve the identity of Kansas City's trenches and ensure there is no big regression in front of Patrick Mahomes — who currently operates without a number of their offensive weapons due to injury.
32. Detroit Lions
Tyler Booker, OG, Alabama
Height: 6'5"
Weight: 325 lbs.
Class: Junior
Fit: The Detroit Lions are, simply put, a wagon. They're going to be a problem late in the year with how diverse their offensive game planning can be. This is, in large part, thanks to the diversity and physicality of their offensive line. Making sure this dynamic of their team remains is place is top priority, especially with a pair of aging guards in Kevin Zeitler and Graham Glasgow. Tyler Booker is a bully in his own right and fits the "brand" of football these Lions have embraced.
