Allen Robinson to Miss Season, Needs Surgery

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Allen Robinson will miss the remainder of the 2022 NFL regular season due to a season-ending foot injury suffered in the team's Week 12 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, according to NFL Media.

Robinson will reportedly undergo foot surgery, coach Sean McVay told reporters following the Rams' loss on Sunday. The defeat dropped the team to 3-8 on the season and into last place in the NFC West.

Beckham Jr. Escorted off Plane, Starts Visits This Week

Free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is beginning his tour of potential teams on Thursday with a visit to the New York Giants, NFL Media reported. Beckham was drafted by the Giants in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft and played with the team until he was traded in 2018.

The Dallas Cowboys are also contending to sign Beckham Jr., who is coming off an ACL tear in last year's Super Bowl. Additional reporting indicates the Cowboys are the favorites to sign Beckham Jr.

Beckham Jr. was escorted off a flight at Miami International Airport after he was going in and out of consciousness on Sunday, NFL Media reported. The free-agent wide receiver was not arrested or cited for the incident.

Medical staffers were called to treat Beckham Jr, and they believed his condition would worsen during the flight, but he refused to leave when asked.

Bears Fear Mooney Out for Year

The Chicago Bears fear that WR Darnell Mooney will miss the rest of the season due to an ankle injury, according to NFL Media. Mooney will undergo further testing next week, but it is possible the wideout has played his last game of the 2022 NFL season.

The Bears lost their Week 12 contest 31-10 to the New York Jets at Metlife Stadium in New Jersey.

Eagles Lose Gardner-Johnson for Game

The Philadelphia Eagles will be without safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson for the remainder of their game against the Green Bay Packers Sunday night, according to the team. Gardner-Johnson suffered a rib injury in the first half of the team's game and was subsequently ruled out for the second half.

Packers' Savage Will Not  Return

Green Bay Packers safety Darnell Savage will not return to the team's Sunday night game after suffering a foot injury, according to the team.

Savage had previously been designated as questionable to return, according to the team, but when the team returned from halftime, they clarified that Savage was officially ruled out.

Rodgers' Thumb Worse Than Reported

Packers quarterback is playing through an avulsion fracture in his right thumb this season, NFL Media reported. Rodgers suffered the injury during the team's Oct. 9 game against the Giants in London and has been playing through it ever since.

Although Rodgers has not considered surgery, that is usually the way to fix the injury he has.

Broncos' Wilson, Purcell Downplay Heated Exchange

Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson told reporters that the heated exchange between himself and teammate Mike Purcell left the pair with "no animosity."

Speaking with the media following the Broncos' loss to the Carolina Panthers, Russell Wilson said, "Mike and I are on the same page, He came off after we kicked the field goal, and he was pissed off. He said we’ve got to f—ing go. I agreed. . . . There’s no animosity. We’ve got to win."

Purcell added that he was simply trying to provide Wilson and the offense with a "Spark." Regardless of the duo's comments, rumors are likely to persist that the Broncos are frustrated with Wilson — especially now that the team has fallen to 3-8  (last place in the AFC West).

Elijah Mitchell Out, MCL Sprain Possible

San Fransisco 49ers running back Elijah Mitchell will not return to the team's Week 12 matchup with the New Orleans Saints, according to ESPN. Reports indicate that Mitchell left the game due to a knee injury.

Following the game, the team announced that Mitchell is likely suffering from an MCL sprain, though the sprain is not likely as severe as the one Mitchell dealt with earlier in the year.

Wirfs' X-Rays Negative

Buccaneers right tackle Tristan Wirfs was carted off the field in overtime of Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns after going down with a leg injury, though x-rays came back negative. Wirfs' injury was described by coach Todd Bowles as a leg injury following the team's loss to the Browns.

Wirfs has been a stalwart since being drafted in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft out of Iowa. Although the team initially feared the injury could be severe, there is growing optimism that the young star avoided a worst-case scenario. NFL Media reported that Wirfs' X-rays were negative.

Chargers' Linsley Being Evaluated for Head Injury, Pipkins (Knee) Questionable to Return

Los Angeles Chargers offensive lineman Corey Linsley is being evaluated for a head injury, while fellow lineman Trey Pipkins is questionable to return after suffering a knee injury, according to The Athletic.

Cardinals' DB Williams Questionable to Return

Antonio Williams is questionable to return for the Arizona Cardinals, according to the team. The defensive back is reportedly dealing with an ankle injury.

Raiders' Averett Will Not Return

The Las Vegas Raiders will be without cornerback Anthony Averett after the cornerback injured his toe during the team's Week 12 matchup with the Seattle Seahawks, according to the team.

Etienne Questionable to Return

Jaguars running back Travis Etienne is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Ravens with a foot injury, the team announced. Etienne's production has exploded since the team traded James Robinson to the New York Jets last month.

Dolphins' Starting OTs Injured

Dolphins left tackle Terron Armstead left Sunday's game against the Texans late in the second quarter and was ruled out with a pectoral injury, the team reported. Armstead was replaced by Brandon Shell, who started at right tackle in place of Austin Jackson for several weeks.

Jackson also left Sunday's game against the Texans and did not return with an ankle injury. He was replaced by former second-round pick Greg Little.

Bears' Jackson Suffers Non-Contact Injury

Bears safety Eddie Jackson was carted to the locker room after a non-contact injury and ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the New York Jets, the team announced.

Jackson was injured trying to tackle Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson in the open field. He was unable to put weight on his left leg as he hobbled off the field before being carted off.

Darnold Remains Starter

The Panthers are sticking with Sam Darnold at quarterback against the Seahawks, coach Steve Wilks told reporters after Sunday's game. The Panthers defeated the Broncos 23-10 on Sunday as Darnold went 11-for-19 passing with 168 yards and one touchdown.

He joins PJ Walker and Baker Mayfield as the third Panthers' quarterback to win a game this season.

Jaguars-Ravens Game Delayed

Sunday's Jaguars vs. Ravens game in Jacksonville was delayed due to lightning in the area. The two teams were told to enter the locker room early, delaying their warm-up period. Kickoff occurred at 1:25 P.M. EST and based on radar scans, the teams do not anticipate further weather delays, according to the CBS broadcast.

Rams Not Shutting Down Stafford

The Rams believe quarterback Matthew Stafford will play again this season, NFL Media reported. Stafford has been dealing with a neck injury that will keep him out of the team's Week 12 game.

Stafford, reportedly, was experiencing numbness in his legs but those symptoms have improved during the course of this week.

Watson to be Reinstated

Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson is expected to be fully eligible to play after completing his 11-game suspension on Monday, ESPN reported. Watson was suspended before the season after the NFL investigated him for sexual misconduct against more than 20 massage therapists.

Watson's first game back will be on Dec. 4 against his former team, the Texans. Cleveland is 3-7 on the season and sits in third place in the AFC North.
