Fields Carted to Locker Room

Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields was carted to the locker room with a left shoulder injury following the team's loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, ESPN reported. Bears coach Matt Eberflus said an update on Fields' status wouldn't come until Wednesday.

The Bears quarterback told reporters he was in pain but did not provide any more details on his timetable or future status. Fields was slow to get up after taking hits both beyond and behind the line of scrimmage multiple times in the second half.

Stafford Leaves Game

Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford has entered concussion protocol one week after missing a game while in concussion protocol, ESPN reported.

Stafford was hit by multiple New Orleans Saints defenders and landed awkwardly on his back before being taken into the locker room for evaluation. Former University of Virginia QB Bryce Perkins has entered the game with usual backup John Wolford inactive.

Toney, Edwards-Helaire Out Against Chargers

The Kansas City Chiefs are down several players against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday night. Wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hamstring) is out, while safety Juan Thornhill is questionable to return dealing with a calf injury. Running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire was declared out with an ankle injury.

Mixon Out After Head Injury

Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon has been ruled out after sustaining a head injury. He was originally labeled as questionable to return to the game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Vikings' Darrisaw Out with Concussion

Minnesota Vikings left tackle Christian Darrisaw is officially out with a concussion, according to the team. Darrisaw was injured in the first half of the Vikings' Week 11 matchup with the Dallas Cowboys.

Darrisaw's development in his second professional season has been a key piece of the Vikings' emergence in 2022.

Broncos RB Edmonds, DL Harris Downgraded to Out

The Denver Broncos will be without running back Chase Edmonds and defensive lineman Jonathan Harris, according to the team. Edmonds is dealing with an ankle injury while Harris suffered a knee injury.

Pitts Suffers Injury

Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts left the team's game against the Chicago Bears with a knee injury and did not return. Pitts took a big hit to his left knee from Bears safety Eddie Jackson, who lowered his helmet to make the hit.

Giants Rookie Ruled Out

New York Giants rookie wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson was ruled out with a knee injury during the team's game against the Detroit Lions, the team announced.

Robinson needed help just to get to the locker room, and he's missed time with an injury already this season.

Multiple Patriots' Starting OL Ruled Out

New England Patriots offensive lineman David Andrews (thigh) and Isaiah Wynn (foot) have been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game, the team announced. Andrews' injury is feared to be serious and could possibly end his season, NFL Media reported after the game.

Andrews had to be helped off the field by trainers and could not put any pressure on his left leg as he walked off the field. New England is now down two starting offensive linemen in a key divisional game against the New York Jets.

Ravens First-Round Rookie Questionable

Baltimore Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers with a knee injury, the team announced. Hamilton was a first-round pick out of Notre Dame in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Lions Lose Starting CB

Detroit Lions cornerback Jeff Okudah was ruled out for the rest of the team's game against the New York Giants with a concussion, the team announced.

Okudah has been a key member of a Lions defense that has improved in recent weeks after a tough start to the season.

Giants' Jackson Ruled Out

New York Giants starting cornerback Adoree Jackson is out for the remainder of the team's game against the Detroit Lions, PFF reported. Jackson left the game with a knee injury.

NFC East Teams Competing for Beckham Jr.

The Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants have emerged as the favorites to sign free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., NFL Media reported. Beckham Jr. is expected to begin visiting teams following Thanksgiving.

Beckham Jr. was drafted and played for the Giants from 2014-18. The Cowboys have been heavily rumored to be interested in Beckham Jr. for several weeks.

The 33rd Team analysts Matt Cassel and Marty Mornhinweg discussed which team is a better fit for Beckham Jr last week.

Fitzpatrick Is Back Already

Pittsburgh Steelers safety Minkah Fitzpatrick will return to the starting lineup on Sunday against the Bengals after missing one game with appendicitis, the PGH Post-Gazette reported. Original reporting indicated Fitzpatrick would miss multiple weeks with the injury.

However, Fitzpatrick alerted doctors to his pain early enough they prevented a full rupture of his appendix, which saved him a lot of recovery time, NFL Media reported.

Kupp to Miss Significant Time

Los Angeles Rams WR Cooper Kupp is expected to miss six-to-eight weeks after undergoing tightrope ankle surgery this week, ESPN reported. Kupp suffered the injury during the team's Week 10 loss to the Arizona Cardinals.

There was no original timetable for his return but appears he'll miss a good chunk of the Rams' remaining games.

Jefferson Dealing With Minor Injury

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson is dealing with a minor turf toe injury that is not expected to affect his game status, NFL Media reported.

Jefferson was limited at practice with the injury, but he told reporters he's confident it won't bother him much when he's actually on the field.

Heinicke Remains QB1

The Washington Commanders are expected to stick with Taylor Heinicke at quarterback, NFL Media reported. Heinicke originally took over after an injury to Carson Wentz forced him into the lineup.

Heinicke has won three of his four starts since Wentz's injury, including a win against the undefeated Philadelphia Eagles last Monday night. It's also important to note if Wentz plays less than 70% of Washington's snaps this season, the team will lose a third-round pick instead of a second-round pick to the Indianapolis Colts.

Falcons Sticking With Mariota

The Atlanta Falcons will stick with Marcus Mariota at quarterback as long as the team is in contention to win the AFC South, NFL Media reported. The Falcons sit at 4-6 and in second place in the much-maligned NFC South.

Mariota has thrown 12 touchdowns and seven interceptions this season but has only eclipsed 200 passing yards in a single game three times. Atlanta's backup is former Cincinnati Bearcats quarterback Desmond Ridder, who the team selected in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Broncos Switching Play Callers

The Denver Broncos are switching offensive play callers to try and jump-start their stagnant offense. Head coach Nathaniel Hackett will give play-calling duty to quarterbacks coach Klint Kubiak, NFL Media reported.

Kubiak radioed in the plays to Broncos' quarterback Russell Wilson this week during practice, but Hackett did not inform the team of the change until Saturday night.
