Baltimore Ravens NFL Draft Grades 2023: Zay Flowers Could Ignite Ravens Offense
The Baltimore Ravens added a serious playmaker for Lamar Jackson and the offense in Boston College wide receiver Zay Flowers. Will this draft class be enough to help put them on top in a competitive AFC North?

22. Zay Flowers, WR, Boston College
The Baltimore Ravens get game-changing over-the-top speed to add another weapon for recently re-signed Lamar Jackson. Zay Flowers (scouting report) can run past just about anybody on defense and also shows solid run-after-the-catch ability. He will be a nice complement to Odell Beckham and Rashod Bateman. Size is a bit of a concern for Flowers, but his quickness and ability to separate help dampen those concerns.

86. Trenton Simpson, LB, Clemson
Trenton Simpson (scouting report) is an athletic off-ball stack linebacker who has lateral movement skills and top-level speed. He is an explosive hitter on contact and can also play in coverage. He has first-round ability, but there are questions about his instincts, and he is a bit slow to react in both the run and pass game.

124. Tavius Robinson, Edge, Ole Miss
Baltimore gets a long and lean defensive end in Tavius Robinson (scouting report) who owns the power to create a push and the lateral quickness to penetrate backfields.
Grade: C
157. Kyu Blu-Kelly, CB, Stanford
This was a great value selection for Baltimore. Kyu Blu-Kelly (scouting report) lacks elite size and athleticism, but he m.ay be the most technically sound press corner in this class.
Grade: B+
199. Malaesala Aumavae-Laulu, OT, Oregon
Malaesala Aumavae-Lalau is a big, long offensive tackle with ideal size, frame and thickness. He lacks natural athletic ability, especially foot quickness. However, he has good upper-body strength, but his technique is too inconsistent. The Ravens take a flier on size late in the sixth.

229. Andrew Vorhees, OL, USC
Andrew Vorhees (scouting report) is a productive player with position flexibility. He benched 38 times at the combine but was injured in Indianapolis. He has good size but just average length.
