Draft Tracker
Panthers
B+
GradeQB, Alabama
Pick Analysis:
Fantasy analysis: No surprise with the first overall pick, Bryce Young is the face of the new era in Panthers football. Young will have an average supporting cast on offense in his rookie year.
Texans
B
GradeQB, Ohio State
Pick Analysis:
Fantasy analysis: Houston ends up selecting C.J. Stroud with the first of its two first-round picks. The Texans have one of the league's thinnest group of pass catchers, but their offensive line was improved this offseason with the addition of Shaq Mason. Stroud is in a similar tier (low-end QB2) to Young for fantasy, with Young as our slight preference.
Texans
B+
GradeED, Alabama
Pick Analysis:
Colts
C+
GradeQB, Florida
Pick Analysis:
Fantasy analysis: Anthony Richardson may not start on opening day for the Colts, but his dynamic, dual-threat skill set will make him a waiver wire priority the moment he takes over. The Colts have a better offensive supporting cast than the Panthers or Texans, and Richardson is a good fit with new Colts head coach Shane Steichen. Richardson is a top-15 fantasy option when starting due to his dual-threat ability. Michael Pittman's value is probably nuked when Richardson starts over Gardner Minshew. Pass volume will be a major concern for any rookie year starts from Richardson. Jonathan Taylor benefits, as he's not particularly reliant on pass-catching. We could see a Lamar Jackson/Justin Fields effect, where RBs average 5+ YPC with Richardson under center keeping linebackers uncomfortable.
Seahawks
B+
GradeCB, Illinois
Pick Analysis:
Cardinals
B
GradeOT, Ohio State
Pick Analysis:
Raiders
A-
GradeED, Texas Tech
Pick Analysis:
Falcons
A
GradeRB, Texas
Pick Analysis:
Fantasy analysis: The Falcons have a solid offensive line, along with two great pass-catching weapons in Drake London and Kyle Pitts. Quarterback is still a major question mark, but Robinson should be given heavy volume from Arthur Smith (formerly with the Titans and Derrick Henry). Expect 250-300 carries and 50-75 targets for Robinson's rookie year, making him a mid-range RB1 for fantasy. Tyler Allgeier is nothing more than a pure handcuff at this point.
Eagles
A
GradeDT, Georgia
Pick Analysis:
Bears
B
GradeOT, Tennessee
Pick Analysis:
Titans
B-
GradeOG, Northwestern
Pick Analysis:
Lions
C+
GradeRB, Alabama
Pick Analysis:
Fantasy analysis: To start, this ruins D'Andre Swift's fantasy value, who is probably a worse pass-catcher than Jahmyr Gibbs. A Swift trade is exponentially more likely now, too, as his skill set is redundant to Gibbs. This also hurts David Montgomery, who is a less instinctual runner than Gibbs. For Gibbs himself, it's quite unclear how much work Detroit will give him in his first year. He likely cannot handle more than 8-12 carries per game at 199 lbs. He's a home run hitter with 4.36 speed, and behind this offensive line, Gibbs has the potential to average more than five yards per carry. Additionally, paired with the immobile Jared Goff, it's not unreasonable that he'll see 5-7 targets per game.
Packers
B-
GradeED, Iowa
Pick Analysis:
Steelers
A+
GradeOT, Georgia
Pick Analysis:
Jets
B
GradeED, Iowa State
Pick Analysis:
Commanders
A-
GradeCB, Mississippi State
Pick Analysis:
Patriots
A+
GradeCB, Oregon
Pick Analysis:
Lions
D
GradeLB, Iowa
Pick Analysis:
Buccaneers
D
GradeDT, Pittsburgh
Pick Analysis:
Seahawks
A
GradeWR, Ohio State
Pick Analysis:
Fantasy analysis: Seattle gets their Tyler Lockett replacement, and a player who complements D.K. Metcalf extremely well. Smith-Njigba is the smartest route runner in this class, and can dominate the slot role while Metcalf and Lockett play out wide. This fantasy landing spot should cause Smith-Njigba to fall to the ninth or tenth round in redraft leagues, where he's a decent value, as we almost always underestimate how rookie WRs will be used based on landing spot. Utimately, JSN has a competent QB in Geno Smith, and should be part of a top-10 passing attack. Long-term, he pairs very well with Metcalf, since Lockett turns 31 years old in September.
Chargers
A+
GradeWR, TCU
Pick Analysis:
Fantasy analysis: The Chargers desperately needed more speed on offense, along with a dynamic player after the catch. Johnston has his route running flaws and will probably make some frustrating drops as a rookie, however, this is an elite landing spot for him. Keenan Allen and Mike Williams will ensure Johnston is seeing very favorable cornerback matchups each week. Johnston should be getting drafted in Round 7 of redraft leagues with this landing spot. He's a legitimate top-24 fantasy upside receiver in year 1. "
Ravens
B
GradeWR, Boston College
Pick Analysis:
Fantasy analysis: Todd Monken takes over the play calling for the Baltimore Ravens and all the moves they've made point to this being a more spread open offense. Zay Flowers gets them a playmaker who pairs well with their new offensive system. Flowers is likely to be the Ravens' best deep threat this upcoming year. With the increased passing volume, he can be a boom-or-bust fantasy WR3/WR4 this upcoming year. Odell Beckham Jr. and Rashod Bateman are coming off of significant knee/foot injuries and can be slowly brought along.
Vikings
A
GradeWR, USC
Pick Analysis:
Fantasy analysis: Jordan Addison is the perfect pairing for Justin Jefferson. Addison gets to work the deep portion of the field, keeping Jefferson, T.J. Hockenson, and K.J. Osborn to work the middle of the field. From a target perspective, the target split should be similar to what we have seen from when Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley played together. Addison has the highest immediate fantasy upside among all receivers drafted so far, as he has a chance to out-target Hockenson from October onward. He should be drafted in Round 6 of fantasy drafts.
Giants
B+
GradeCB, Maryland
Pick Analysis:
Bills
A-
GradeTE, Utah
Pick Analysis:
Fantasy analysis: Dawson Knox was only fantasy relevant because he played with Josh Allen and scored touchdowns. Knox averaged 11 and 9 PPR points per game the past two seasons as the Bills' starting tight end. Kincaid has a claim to be the best pure pass-catching TE in this class, and even a 16 percent target share in this offense could lead to TE6 or TE7 numbers in 2023. He's going to be a popular sleeper TE in fantasy, and he should go slightly after David Njoku, and around Greg Dulcich in leagues this offseason.
Cowboys
D
GradeDT, Michigan
Pick Analysis:
Jaguars
A
GradeOT, Oklahoma
Pick Analysis:
Bengals
B+
GradeED, Clemson
Pick Analysis:

Pick Analysis:
Chiefs
B
GradeED, Kansas State
Pick Analysis:
Steelers
A-
GradeCB, Penn State
Pick Analysis:
Titans
A+
GradeQB, Kentucky
Pick Analysis:
Fantasy analysis: Levis should not be on your fantasy radar. The Titans don't have a complete wide receiver room for Levis to make much fantasy noise. As a second-round pick, there's a decent chance he doesn't start any games for Tennessee in 2023.
Lions
B
GradeTE, Iowa
Pick Analysis:
Fantasy analysis: LaPorta is a strong run-after-the-catch tight end, with a chance to start immediately in a very thin Lions tight end room. If, and when, LaPorta rises to the top of the depth chart, he will immediately become a streaming option with some late TE1 upside.
Raiders
A
GradeTE, Notre Dame
Pick Analysis:
Fantasy analysis: With Darren Waller now in New York, and Foster Moreau missing all of the 2023 NFL season, the Raiders land the most pro-ready tight end in this class. Mayer isn't elite anywhere, but does everything well. He was a three-year player at Notre Dame, who had over 800 receiving yards as both a sophomore and junior. He should start from day 1, and is in the low-end fantasy TE1 conversation.
Rams
D
GradeOG, TCU
Pick Analysis:
Seahawks
C
GradeED, Auburn
Pick Analysis:
Falcons
C-
GradeOT, Syracuse
Pick Analysis:
Panthers
A-
GradeWR, Ole Miss
Pick Analysis:
Fantasy analysis: It's unclear what the pecking order for targets will be with Mingo, DJ Chark, Adam Thielen, and Terrace Marshall Jr.. This is good news for Mingo, who has fantasy upside given he will have a solid rookie QB in Bryce Young and an incredibly weak WR depth chart to climb. Mingo should be getting starter reps by October, and he's a WR5 type in fantasy drafts.
Saints
B-
GradeED, Notre Dame
Pick Analysis:
Cardinals
A
GradeED, LSU
Pick Analysis:
Packers
B
GradeTE, Oregon State
Pick Analysis:
Fantasy analysis: Musgrave lit it up at the combine across all drills, and he has a path to being second on the Packers in targets behind Christian Watson if he can stay healthy. For fantasy, he's in the same general tier as Michael Mayer, Greg Dulcich, Dalton Kincaid, and Sam LaPorta. Green Bay had a major hole here.
Jets
A
GradeOC, Wisconsin
Pick Analysis:
Colts
B-
GradeCB, Kansas State
Pick Analysis:
Lions
A
GradeS, Alabama
Pick Analysis:
Patriots

Pick Analysis:
Buccaneers
B
GradeOT, North Dakota State
Pick Analysis:
Steelers
A-
GradeDT, Wisconsin
Pick Analysis:
Packers
C+
GradeWR, Michigan State
Pick Analysis:
Fantasy analysis: Reed was a dynamic player on special teams in college, who also commanded a minimum 23 percent target share all four years in college. There's a good chance he's out-snapping WR Romeo Doubs by Week 4 or 5, and he's a fantasy WR5 type heading into 2023. His fantasy success firmly rests in how well Jordan Love plays as the full-time starter.
Dolphins
B+
GradeCB, South Carolina
Pick Analysis:
Seahawks
C+
GradeRB, UCLA
Pick Analysis:
Fantasy analysis: Kenneth Walker is firmly atop the depth chart. This is a head-scratching pick. This backfield is a fantasy nightmare, as Walker was previously going Round 2 in early drafts. Walker should fall into Round 4 or 5, while Charbonnet should be drafted closer to Round 7 or 8 in fantasy.
Bears
C
GradeDT, Florida
Pick Analysis:
Chargers
B-
GradeDT, USC
Pick Analysis:
Chiefs
B+
GradeWR, SMU
Pick Analysis:
Fantasy analysis: Rice lands in the perfect situation, as the Chiefs have the oft-injured Kadarius Toney, the unproven Skyy Moore, and a pure deep threat in Marquez Valdes-Scantling. Rice should be on the fantasy WR4 radar, and should be going in Round 10 of best ball drafts, and Round 11 or 12 for redraft.
Bears
B
GradeCB, Miami (FL)
Pick Analysis:
Giants
B
GradeOC, Minnesota
Pick Analysis:
Cowboys
C+
GradeTE, Michigan
Pick Analysis:
Fantasy analysis: Schoonmaker was often mocked in Round 4, but he has one great trait, running a 4.63 40-time at the combine. Dallas' TE depth chart has was a tough one to crack for awhile before Dalton Schultz fully emerged. I expect Schoonmaker to be the guy long-term, but he's a risky best ball pick who could be putting up zeroes all season. For redraft, he's a nice late-round dart throw you can drop if Jake Ferguson is ahead of him on the depth chart.
Bills
B
GradeOG, Florida
Pick Analysis:
Bengals
B-
GradeCB, Michigan
Pick Analysis:
Jaguars
C-
GradeTE, Penn State
Pick Analysis:
Fantasy analysis: Strange is a blocking TE who is most likely a fantasy non-factor. He ran a 4.70 and never topped a 10 percent target share in any season at Penn State.
Texans
C+
GradeOC, Penn State
Pick Analysis:
Broncos
D
GradeWR, Oklahoma
Pick Analysis:
Fantasy analysis: Marvin Mims fits perfectly into what Russell Wilson loves to do which is throw the ball down the field. Mims was put into a receiver friendly scheme in college, but you see the traits for him to develop into a complete wide receiver. He can separate, he's got good foot work, and was able to come down with some under-thrown passes. The landing spot is crowded, but both Jeudy and Sutton have been rumored to be on the trade block. Mims is a fantasy WR5 type who is better in best ball.
Bears
B-
GradeDT, South Carolina
Pick Analysis:
Eagles
C
GradeOT, Alabama
Pick Analysis:
Eagles
B+
GradeS, Illinois
Pick Analysis:
Broncos
B
GradeLB, Arkansas
Pick Analysis:
Lions
A
GradeQB, Tennessee
Pick Analysis:
Fantasy analysis: Hooker immediately steps into the best situation among all quarterbacks taken so far in the draft. The Lions have an elite offensive line, premium receiving talents in Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams, a loaded running back room with Jahmyr Gibbs, D'Andre Swift and David Montgomery, and an athletic rookie tight end in Sam LaPorta. Hooker will be on the streaming radar any time he starts a game in 2023. However, if Detroit gets off to a strong start, they'll likely roll with Goff, only pivoting if they get knocked out of playoff contention.
Texans
B+
GradeWR, Houston
Pick Analysis:
Fantasy analysis: Dell is an undersized wide receiver, but he is among the best in the class at separating and is extremely quick. He has multiple release packages that defensive backs from getting their hands on him. Dell is unlikely to be fantasy relevant at his size, but it's a good football fit for a team that needs more natural separators.
Raiders
A-
GradeDT, Alabama
Pick Analysis:
Saints
B+
GradeRB, TCU
Pick Analysis:
Fantasy analysis: Kendre Miller is a big back with decent speed and minimal receiving chops. He compares to a faster Javonte Williams. His immediate fantasy value depends partially on the Alvin Kamara suspension, but we have to think he'll be starting over Jamaal Williams on early downs and at the goal line by midseason. He's a solid later round fantasy pick.
Cardinals
A
GradeCB, Syracuse
Pick Analysis:
Giants
A+
GradeWR, Tennessee
Pick Analysis:
Fantasy analysis: Hyatt underperformed at the combine, but he's among the few burners in this class. He played a slot-heavy role in college, but that doesn't necessarily mean that's what he'll do in the pros. Hyatt's early role could be limited, as he'll compete with Darius Slayton for looks over the top. Hyatt is unlikely to be a major fantasy factor as a rookie, and is primarily a late-round best ball pick.
Browns
A
GradeWR, Tennessee
Pick Analysis:
Fantasy analysis: Tillman is a big-bodied receiver who can make plays on the outside. He's got strong hands, but wasn't a great separator and doesn't have great speed. The question becomes can he beat out Donovan Peoples-Jones, David Bell, or Elijah Moore for a bigger role in this offense behind Amari Cooper. He's not much more than a late round best ball pick for fantasy football.
Falcons
B
GradeED, Ohio State
Pick Analysis:
Patriots
C-
GradeS, Sacramento State
Pick Analysis:
Rams
A
GradeED, Tennessee
Pick Analysis:
Packers
A-
GradeTE, South Dakota State
Pick Analysis:
The Packers took Luke Musgrave in Round 2, and now double up with another fairly athletic tight end in Tucker Kraft. Musgrave is the fantasy preference, though with Musgrave's lengthy injury history, Kraft is worth a flier in best ball drafts.
Colts
A
GradeWR, North Carolina
Pick Analysis:
Fantasy analysis: Josh Downs gives Anthony Richardson a reliable slot wide receiver who is used to working with quarterbacks who get off script. Parris Campbell is no longer there, and he's going to battle Isaiah McKenzie for that role. I don't think the volume will be there in year 1, especially with Richardson needing a lot of work as a passer. Downs is a best ball pick, but should not be on your redraft radar.
Panthers
D
GradeED, Oregon
Pick Analysis:
Titans
C
GradeRB, Tulane
Pick Analysis:
Fantasy analysis: Spears is a small but explosive runner with some pass-catching chops. He was a monster at Tulane in 2022, handling a crazy workload and rushing for 1,581 yards. He's an upside handcuff to Derrick Henry this year, though if Henry is traded, he enters the fantasy RB3 conversation.
Buccaneers
C
GradeED, Louisville
Pick Analysis:
Broncos
B-
GradeCB, Iowa
Pick Analysis:
Dolphins
B
GradeRB, Texas A&M
Pick Analysis:
Fantasy analysis: Achane is a shade under 190 lbs, but he's sturdy and possesses sprinter speed. He's a capable pass-catcher who should be used creatively on third downs. For fantasy, he's a Half-PPR/PPR-only type back, who is unlikely to get goal line work. However, this is a great offense, so there's potential for a few receiving TDs or 40-yard scoring runs for his rookie season. Draft him in the late rounds of redraft and best ball leagues.
Chargers
B-
GradeLB, Washington State
Pick Analysis:
Ravens
B+
GradeLB, Clemson
Pick Analysis:
49ers
B
GradeS, Penn State
Pick Analysis:
Jaguars
B
GradeRB, Auburn
Pick Analysis:
Fantasy analysis: Bigsby is Aaron Jones with less pass catching. He is nstinctual, relatively athletic, and just big enough. He's nothing more than a handcuff, but this is actually great news for Travis Etienne, as we knew Jacksonville would draft a RB, and Bigsby likely isn't big enough to vulture the goal line work.
Rams
D
GradeDT, Wake Forest
Pick Analysis:
Cowboys
B+
GradeLB, Texas
Pick Analysis:
Bills
B
GradeLB, Tulane
Pick Analysis:
Chiefs
B+
GradeOT, Oklahoma
Pick Analysis:
Steelers
B+
GradeTE, Georgia
Pick Analysis:
Fantasy analysis: No fantasy relevance here, as the Steelers already have Pat Freiermuth on the roster. Expect Washington to function as a sixth offensive lineman and occasional red zone threat.
Cardinals
C
GradeWR, Stanford
Pick Analysis:
Fantasy analysis: Wilson is a big-bodied receiver who was able to show an ability to get yards after the catch. He battled injuries throughout his college career and poor quarterback play that limited his production in college. He does not project to be fantasy relevant.

Pick Analysis:

Pick Analysis:

Pick Analysis:
Raiders
C-
GradeWR, Cincinnati
Pick Analysis:
Fantasy analysis: Tucker goes ahead of Cincinnati teammate Tyler Scott (surprising). Tucker is small (182 lbs) with 4.40 wheels. He had 30 percent fewer yards per game than Scott in 2022. He does not project to be fantasy relevant.
49ers
D-
GradeTE, Alabama
Pick Analysis:
Fantasy analysis: Tight end wasn't’ exactly a need for the 49ers, but they add a more passing game centric tight end to their offense in Latu. Latu is more of a finesse, quality athlete than a physical mauler. He has no shot of taking George Kittle’s job, but he could become fantasy relevant if Kittle were to miss time.
