Greg Jennings is a former NFL wide receiver who played for the Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, and Miami Dolphins from 2006 to 2015. Jennings is a two-time Pro Bowl player and was a member of the Super Bowl XLV championship team in Green Bay. He was voted to the 2006 PFWA All-Rookie team and was inducted into the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame during the 2022 season.
Jennings was drafted in the second round in 2006 after an electric career at Western Michigan University, where he still holds the record for all-purpose yards with 5,093. In his senior year, he was the Mid-American Conference Offensive Player of the Year.
Jennings played the majority of his NFL career for the Packers, whose offense had a pass-first approach with Brett Favre and then Aaron Rodgers. Jennings became one of Rodgers' favorite targets during their time together.
He finished his career with 571 receptions, 8,291 receiving yards and 64 touchdowns. Jennings’ performance in the playoffs during their 2010 Super Bowl run is also memorable: 21 receptions, 303 yards and two touchdowns. Most notably in Super Bowl XLV, he made his two touchdown receptions but also had a critical catch on third down that set up the winning field goal for the Packers.
A native of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Jennings graduated from Kalamazoo Central High School, where he found success as a three-sport athlete (football, basketball, and track). Since retiring from the NFL, Jennings has made several acting appearances. He also up a foundation in his Kalamazoo to "provide students with the necessary resources to reach their academic potential."
Jennings resides in Minnesota with his wife and four children.
