In this video, former NFL cornerback Samari Rolle explains why he believes Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is under the most pressure this season.
Rolle starts by explaining how the success of fellow 2020 draft picks, Joe Burrow and Justin Herbert, forces Tagovailoa’s numbers to get compared to those guys. He continues by explaining how Miami hiring Mike McDaniel and adding players like Tyreek Hill eliminates excuses for the young quarterback.
Finally, Rolle highlights why he believes the Dolphins shouldn’t have left Tagovailoa in for the entire quarter in their game against the Raiders.
“The one chance he had to lead them on a touchdown drive, fourth and one, the Dolphins jumped offsides,” Rolle said. “Had they scored a touchdown on the drive Tua was in for, you feel better about that confidence-wise.”
