Lamar Jackson (elbow) on Ravens' Injury Report

Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, who wore a protective sleeve over his throwing arm and didn't throw at Wednesday's practice, was put on the team's injury report with an issue to his right elbow. Speaking to the media after practice, Jackson vowed he'd be ready for Sunday's game against the New England Patriots.

"I'm going to throw Sunday – a lot Sunday," Jackson told reporters after the practice. "I'm good. The pad came with the sleeve. It wasn’t added or anything like that. I will be out there Sunday. I’ll be out there [Thursday] in practice. I’m good."

When Dr. Jess Flynn of The 33rd Team saw Jackson's name show up on the injury report, she immediately reviewed the game tape from Baltimore's loss to Miami on Sunday and noticed that Jackson had hit his right elbow hard on a player's helmet. Like Jackson, Flynn doesn't expect the quarterback to miss Sunday's game at New England.

"There's a little bursa basically at the point of the elbow," Flynn said. "If you've ever whacked your elbow it sometimes feels like there's a loose or chipped bone in there that forms a big ball of fluid, so you can get bursitis just from banging it hard, and that takes some time to get better. The more you hit it, the longer it takes to recover. Hopefully it doesn't effect his throwing."

Bucs WR Mike Evans' Suspension Upheld

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans will miss the team's upcoming game against the Green Bay Packers after his one-game suspension for fighting with Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore was upheld, according to NFL Media.  Evans will return for the team's Week 4 game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
