Injury Updates: Deebo Samuel Suffers Ankle Sprain; Wilson Out With Concussion

Tyreek Hill Questionable, Jeff Wilson Out

The Miami Dolphins are down two offensive playmakers against the Los Angeles Chargers, as wide receiver Tyreek Hill is questionable to return with an ankle injury, and running back Jeff Wilson Jr. is out after being carted to the locker room due to a hip injury.

Hill returned to the game on the Dolphins' first drive of the second half, but an ankle injury could still impact his elite speed.

Russell Wilson Ruled Out (Concussion)

Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson has been ruled out with a concussion, per the team. Wilson appeared to suffer a head injury at the end of a scramble against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Deebo Samuel Carted Off Field, Ruled Out

Deebo Samuel was ruled out after being carted off the field in Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. However, per Jordan Schulz, early reports indicate the injury is not serious, and Samuel just twisted his ankle. According to Kyle Shanahan, the ankle is not broken but is most likely sprained.

Samuel took a hit and was awkwardly twisted by a Buccaneers defender and attempted to get up but went back down to the ground in a great deal of discomfort. Medical personnel attended to his left knee before taking him off to the locker room for further evaluation.

Hendrickson to Miss Time with Broken Wrist

Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Trey Hendrickson is expected to miss a few weeks after suffering a broken wrist during his team's win over the Cleveland Browns, per NFL Media. He apparently played through the fourth quarter after sustaining the injury.

The Bengals are among the leaders in the AFC playoff race and Hendrickson should be back in time for the postseason, especially if Cincinnati secures a first-round bye.

Pickett Out for Game

Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett missed most of Sunday's game against the Ravens after entering concussion protocol, NFL Media reported. Pickett took a big hit from Ravens linebacker Roquan Smith early in the first quarter and went into the medical tent. He returned to the game for one series but was ultimately taken to the locker room.

Pickett was replaced by Mitch Trubisky, who started early this season before losing his job to Pickett.

Huntley Ruled Out

Ravens quarterback Tyler Huntley (concussion) was ruled out of Sunday's game against the Steelers, the team announced. Huntley is filling in for Lamar Jackson who suffered a PCL sprain last week.

Huntley was replaced by Anthony Brown, an undrafted free agent from Oregon, who was promoted from the practice squad this week.

Jets' DL Williams Ruled Out

Jets defensive tackle Quinnen Williams was ruled out of Sunday's game against the Bills with a calf injury, the team announced. Williams injured his calf in the second quarter.

Higgins Questionable, Boyd Out

Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins (hamstring) is questionable to return against the Browns on Sunday, the team announced. Additionally, wide receiver Tyler Boyd (finger) is out for the rest of the game, the team announced. Boyd injured his finger on the team's opening drive of the game, while Higgins was injured in the second quarter.

Jets WR Suffers Head Injury

Jets wide receiver Corey Davis suffered a head injury against the Bills and will not return, NFL Media reported. Davis was kneed in the head and immediately taken to the locker room for further evaluation.
