Miami Dolphins OLB Bradley Chubb was diagnosed with a torn ACL suffered during Sunday's loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

The injury happened with 3:05 remaining in an eventual 56-19 loss.

"I mean, in hindsight, I would absolutely not have wanted him out there if I would've known that he was going to get hurt. ... It doesn't look very smart at all," Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel said Sunday. "I would like a time machine, for sure."

Chubb has had a stellar year, leading the team with 11 sacks, along with six forced fumbles and 74 tackles.

Chubb's injury is the second top pass-rusher Miami has lost in about a month after Jaelan Phillips ruptured his Achilles on Black Friday against the New York Jets.

Chubb has now suffered torn ACLs in each knee. He also suffered a left ACL tear with the Denver Broncos in 2019. Miami traded for Chubb last year, giving up a first-round pick to acquire him. The team signed him to a five-year, $110 million contract shortly after acquiring him.

Andrew Van Ginkel, Melvin Ingram and Emmanuel Ogbah will be tasked with stepping up.

Miami will play host to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday Night Football in the regular season finale. The winner takes the AFC East and will host a playoff game the following week.
