The Chicago Bears pulled the trigger on trading the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, shipping it to the Carolina Panthers in exchange for first- and second-round picks this year, a future first and second, and wide receiver DJ Moore.

Former Bears coach Dave Wannstedt thinks the most underrated part of the deal is Moore, a receiver with three 1,000-yard seasons in his first five years in the league. According to Wannstedt, getting Moore in the deal is like getting one more first-round pick.
