Key Takeaways From Day 1

Key Takeaways from Day 2

  • Twelve different offensive linemen to run a sub-5.00 40-yard dash at the 2022  NFL Combine. That doubles the second-most offensive linemen to do so at a Combine since 2003, and is more than the last three Combines combined
  • Iowa State RB Breece Hall solidified his stock as a top-tier Running Back with a 4.39 40-yard dash, 40-inch vertical, and 10-foot-6 broad jump
  • Boston College OL Zion Johnson led the offensive linemen with 32 bench press reps, while potential first-round pick, Texas A&M OL Kenyon Green, struggled compared to his peers, finishing with 20 bench reps
  • Northern Iowa OL Trevor Penning's speed impressed as he clocked a 4.89 40-yard dash and 7.25 3-cone time
  • No running backs ran the 3-cone drill or either shuttle, potentially due to the late start of drills and limited rest time in between each drill
  • South Dakota State RB Pierre Strong and Rutgers RB Isiah Pacheco led the way among running backs, tying atop the board with a 4.37 40-yard dash
  • Chattanooga OL Cole Strange led all offensive linemen with a 10-foot broad jump, while Sean Rhyan notched a 33.5-inch vertical jump
  • Potential early-round running back Isaiah Spiller opted to only participate in the jumping drills, but struggled in both. His 9-foot-6 broad jump and 30-inch vertical were among the lowest of the running back class
  • Washington State OL Abraham Lucas tested very well in the agility drills, backing up the foot quickness he showed on tape with a 4.92 40-yard dash and 7.25 3-cone drill
