Super Bowl LIX Betting: Best Prop Bets To Grab Early
Super Bowl LIX is still a few days, but that's the perfect time to start locking in some key prop bets for the game.
The Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles reunite for their second Super Bowl matchup in three seasons. While the Chiefs bring in a pretty similar roster, the Eagles feature a new face of their franchise in Saquon Barkley, who is pacing to have the greatest season for a running back in NFL history.
There are so many storylines to discuss heading into this year's Super Bowl, but for those interested in some skin in the game, here are some of the best early prop bets to take heading into Sunday's big game.

Super Bowl LIX Prop Bets
Any Player to score an octopus +1040
It's a bit rare to see an Octopus or a player scoring a touchdown and a 2-point conversion in the same drive, but this feels like excellent value based on one of the teams playing.
There were nine different Octopuses (Octopi?) during the 2024 season, including the first one of the year going to Saquon Barkley in Week 3 against the New Orleans Saints. How fitting would it be for him to also score the last Octopus of the season?
Barkley is a worthy candidate to score on back-to-back plays, but so is Jalen Hurts with the tush push. A rushing touchdown, followed by some kind of penalty on the extra point to allow him to score again, feels possible, especially for a quarterback who has done that twice in his career.
Even if it's not likely, more than 10-to-1 odds feels like great value.

Any non-QB to record a pass TD: +2000
If there was ever a time to whip out a trick play, the Super Bowl would be the time to do it.
Just ask the Eagles, who famously ran the Philly Special in their dramatic win against the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII. Trey Burton is actually the last non-quarterback to throw a touchdown pass in a Super Bowl, but that doesn't mean it won't happen again.
On top of the Eagles being creative near the goal line, the Chiefs are notorious for whipping out old plays from decades ago in the red zone to score. While none of those Super Bowl moments have included a non-quarterback passing touchdown, this could be the year they pull out all the stops.
Again, it is great value to bank on a trick play for two teams that have the talent and coaching staff to create something unique.

It never fails.
Saquon Barkley 100+ Rushing Yards and Eagles Win: +135
If you're someone who is convinced that the more talented team will win, then these are probably the best odds you'll get for an Eagles Super Bowl.
Barkley is likely to be a key factor in an Eagles victory and needs just 53 rushing yards to become the first player in NFL history with 2,000 yards in a combined regular season and postseason. While the Chiefs have a strong run defense, Barkley has worn opponents down by breaking off explosive plays with consistency all postseason.
There are few paths to an Eagles victory without Barkley playing a huge role in the win. He's had at least 118 rushing yards in five straight games and hasn't shown any signs of slowing down in the postseason.
This is a good way to get plus odds on the Eagles' victory for those who are convinced.
Xavier Worthy Super Bowl MVP +3100
Looking for a long shot to win Super Bowl MVP? How about a historically fast rookie?
There was a time earlier this season when Worthy looked like a potential draft bust. The former Texas wideout set the NFL Scouting Combine record in the 40-yard dash before the Chiefs took him with the 28th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
After a strong NFL debut, Worthy quickly cooled off, struggling with drops and staying in bounds on explosive plays. Instead of wilting away, Worthy regained his confidence in the final couple of regular season games and has carried that into some impressive playoff performances.
In his last four games (not counting Week 18 against Denver, where he played one passing snap), Worthy caught 26-of-32 targets for 274 yards and three touchdowns. He's been efficient during that stretch as well, generating 2.08 yards per route run.
On top of his jump in receiving, Worthy still presents a real threat as a gadget run game option because of his breakaway speed. It's obviously a long shot, but a couple of explosive plays leading to touchdowns could be what turns Worthy from a promising rookie into a Super Bowl MVP.
