Week 7 NFL Quarterback Power Rankings
The 33rd Team's weekly QB rankings are a snapshot of where the league's 32 current starters are right now, taking into account the player's recent production, his supporting cast, his health, and an evaluation by our scouting department, led by former NFL team executive T.J. McCreight and assisted by scouts Justin Casey, Kevin Cohn and Evan Pritt.

1. Josh Allen, BillsÂ
Record:Â 5-1 | QB Rating: 109.1 | Prev. Rank:Â 1
Next Three Games: BYE, vs. Green Bay, at N.Y. Jets
Comment: He went head-to-head with Mahomes and finished with 329 yards passing and three TDs. Allen showed off his run skills as well and stayed in the top spot.
2. Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs
Record:Â 4-2 | QB Rating: 106.1 | Prev. Rank:Â 2
Next Three Games:Â at San Francisco, BYE, vs. Tennessee
Comment: Mahomes lands just behind Allen after throwing two picks and falling to the Bills. These two players will probably go back and forth all season.
3. Jalen Hurts, Eagles
Record:Â 6-0 | QB Rating: 98.4 | Prev. Rank: 3
Next Three Games:Â BYE, vs. Pittsburgh, at Houston
Comment:Â Hurts kept his team undefeated throwing two TDs and had another efficient day. He is directing the Eagles' offense at a high-level and doing exactly what they need him to do.
4. Joe Burrow, Bengals
Record: 3-3 | QB Rating: 95.6 | Prev. Rank:Â 7
Next Three Games: vs. Atlanta, at Cleveland, vs. Carolina
Comment: Burrow had a big day against the Saints with a 126 passer rating, three TDs and no picks. He looked toward Ja’Marr Chase, and they were totally in sync together in the second half.
5. Lamar Jackson, Ravens
Record: 3-3 | QB Rating:Â 93.2 | Prev. Rank:Â 4
Next Three Games: vs. Cleveland, at Tampa Bay, at New Orleans
Comment: Jackson struggled to consistently connect vs. the Giants and again — other than tight end Mark Andrews — struggled to get others involved in the passing game.
6. Justin Herbert, Chargers
Record: 4-2 | QB Rating: 93.1 | Prev. Rank: 6
Next Three Games: vs. Seattle, BYE, at Atlanta
Comment: The Chargers won the game, but he did not have a great performance.
7. Kirk Cousins, Vikings
Record:Â 5-1 | QB Rating: 88.7 | Prev. Rank:Â 8
Next Three Games: BYE, vs. Arizona, at Washington
Comment:Â Cousins moved his team to 5-1 and was an efficient 20 of 30 with two TDs and no picks. He's not having a huge year with regard to his numbers, but he is winning football games.
8. Tua Tagovailoa, Dolphins
Record: 3-0 | QB Rating: 109.9 | Prev. Rank: NR
Next Three Games: vs. Pittsburgh, at Chicago, at Detroit
Comment: All eyes will be on Tagovailoa returning from his serious concussion. If he is right, he should have a huge game against the Steelers' banged-up defense.
9. Tom Brady, Buccaneers

Next Three Games: at Carolina, vs. Baltimore, vs. L.A. Rams
Comment: He ran into a desperate Steelers team and did not do enough to finish them off on the road. Brady only averaged 6.1 yards per completion.
10. Matthew Stafford, Rams
Record: 3-3 | QB Rating:Â 84.6 | Prev. Rank:Â 10
Next Three Games: BYE, vs. San Francisco, at Tampa Bay
Comment: He did enough to beat the Panthers and averaged 7.7 yards per throw.
11. Aaron Rodgers, Packers
Record:Â 3-3 | QB Rating: 94.2 | Prev. Rank: 9
Next Three Games: at Washington, at Buffalo, at Detroit
Comment: Rodgers and the Packers' offense only put up 10 points on the board, and he was sacked four times. The Packers need to hit a stride, and it starts with Rodgers.
12. Dak Prescott, Cowboys
Record: 0-1 | QB Rating: 47.2 | Prev Rank: NR
Next Three Games: vs. Chicago, vs. Detroit, BYE
Comment: Cooper Rush did a nice job keeping the team in contention, but to compete with the Eagles, they need Dak playing as he did in 2021.
13. Jared Goff, Lions

Next Three Games: at Dallas, vs. Miami, vs. Green Bay
Comment:Â Goff and the Lions had the week off.
14. Jimmy Garoppolo, 49ers

Comment: Garoppolo threw two picks and the 49ers only scored 14 points in their loss to the Falcons.

Comment: Smith was sacked five times against the Cardinals but did not throw an interception and did enough to win the game.

Comment: Carr and the Raiders had the week off.

Comment:Â Jones moved his Giants to a remarkable 5-1 record with two TDs and no picks against the Ravens. Has protected the football, and his team must be taken seriously.

Comment: The aging Ryan threw the football 58 times against the Jags and had three TDs and no picks. This is a big win for the Colts to keep themselves above .500.
19. Trevor Lawrence, Jaguars

Next Three Games: vs. N.Y. Giants, vs. Denver, vs. Las Vegas
Comment: Lawrence only missed on two passes, going 20 of 22, but only had 165 yards and was sacked four times against the Colts.
20. Kyler Murray, Cardinals
Record: 2-4 | QB Rating: 81.8 | Prev. Rank: 17
Next Three Games: vs. New Orleans, at Minnesota, vs. Seattle
Comment: Murray led the team in rushing, but it was not enough to beat Seattle. He needs his number-one wide receiver, DeAndre Hopkins, back in the lineup, which might happen against the Saints on Thursday night.

Comment:Â Tannehill and the Titans had the week off.

Comment:Â Wilson went into Lambeau Field, only threw 18 passes for 110 yards, but still came away with the victory, moving the Jets to 4-2.

Comment:Â Brissett played one of his worst games of the season against the Patriots. He threw two picks and was sacked four times.

Comment:Â Zappe led the Patriots to a win in Cleveland. He protected the football and threw for 309 yards, two TDs and no picks.

Comment: Another week, another disappointing performance after a close against the Chargers. Wilson also injured his hamstring on Monday night, although it's unclear how serious the injury is.
