Week 11 NFL Quarterback Power Rankings

The 33rd Team’s weekly QB rankings are a snapshot of where the league’s 32 current starters are right now, taking into account the player’s recent production, his supporting cast, his health, and an evaluation by our scouting department, led by former NFL team executive T.J. McCreight and assisted by scouts Justin Casey, Kevin Cohn and Evan Pritt.

Previous QB Rankings: Week 8 | Week 9| Week 10

1. Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs

Record: 6-2 | QB Rating: 103.6 | Prev. Rank: 2

Next Three Weeks: at Chargers, vs. Rams, at Bengals

Comment: Just a ho-hum 331 yards and four TDs, including one to their new toy, recently acquired Kadarius Toney.

2. Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins

Record: 7-1 | QB Rating: 118.4 | Prev. Rank: 5

Next Three Weeks: vs. Texans, at 49ers, at Chargers

Comment: That’s three straight games with a 135+ QB rating as Tagovailoa improves to 7-1 as a starter this season.

3. Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles

Record: 8-1 | QB Rating: 63.7 | Prev. Rank: 2

Comment: Bye. Next @ Steelers

Next Three Weeks: Bye, vs. Panthers, at Jaguars

Comment: Bye. Next vs Panthers

7. Geno Smith, Seattle Seahawks

Record: 6-4 | QB Rating: 67.7 | Prev. Rank: 7

Next Three Weeks: Bye Week, vs. Raiders, at Rams

Comment: The final stat sheet looks good, but they were just one-for-nine on third downs and Smith had a poor red-zone fumble in the third quarter when they were trailing 14-3.

8. Kirk Cousins, Minnesota Vikings

Record: 8-1 | QB Rating: 47.7 | Prev. Rank: 9

Next Three Weeks: vs. Cowboys, vs. Patriots, vs. Jets

Comment: He threw two bad picks but led them to victory in tough conditions on the road.

9. Tom Brady, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Record: 5-5 | QB Rating: 54.5 | Prev. Rank: 11

Next Three Weeks: Bye Week, at Browns vs. Saints

Comment: Don’t look now, but Tampa Bay is getting healthy, and they are in control of the week NFC South… Just don’t throw the ball to your 45-year-old quarterback.

10. Justin Herbert, Los Angeles Chargers

Record: 5-4 | QB Rating: 55.3 | Prev. Rank: 8

Next Three Weeks: vs. Chiefs, at Cardinals, at Raiders

Comment: He is just trying to survive awaiting the return of WRs Keenan Allen and Mike Williams. The Chargers may drop too far out of the playoff race if they don’t return in form soon.

11. Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers

Record: 4-6 | QB Rating: 39.6 | Prev. Rank: 14

Next Three Weeks: vs. Titans, at Eagles, vs. Bears

Record: 2-2 | QB Rating: 52.6 | Prev. Rank: 10

Next Three Weeks: at Vikings, vs. Giants, vs. Colts

Comment: He threw two first-half interceptions, but he had them up by 14 heading into the fourth quarter and in position to attempt a 52-yard field goal on the first possession of OT.

13. Jimmy Garoppolo, San Francisco 49ers

Record: 4-3 | QB Rating: 48.2 | Prev. Rank: 12

Next Three Weeks: vs. Cardinals, vs. Saints, vs. Dolphins

14. Daniel Jones, New York Giants

Record: 7-2 | QB Rating: 60.3 |  Prev. Rank: 15

Next Three Weeks: vs. Lions, at Cowboys

Comment: Only threw 17 passes, but he threw two TDs, and they rode the legs of Saquon Barkley to victory to improve to 7-2.

15. Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams

Record: 3-5 | QB Rating: 47.4 | Prev. Rank: 13

Next Three Weeks: vs. Saints, at Chiefs, vs. Seahawks

Comment: We’ll see if Stafford is cleared from concussion protocol, but John Wolford’s performance assured that there will be no QB controversy with the Rams.

16. Jared Goff, Detroit Lions

Record: 3-6 | QB Rating: 54.5 | Prev. Rank: 16

Next Three Weeks: at Giants, vs. Bills, vs. Jaguars

Comment: He was efficient but not flashy, which was enough to win their second in a row.

17. Justin Fields, Chicago Bears

Record: 3-7 | QB Rating: 57.1 | Prev. Rank: 17

Next Three Weeks: at Falcons, at Jets, vs. Packers

Comment: He was once again spectacular on the ground, but he threw a pick that changed the momentum. He still needs to improve his decision-making time.

18. Derek Carr, Las Vegas Raiders

Record: 2-7 | QB Rating: 58.4 | Prev. Rank: 18

Next Three Weeks: at Broncos, at Seahawks, vs. Chargers

Comment: The Raiders are a befuddling team, and Carr is clearly getting frustrated.

19. Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals

Record: 3-6 | QB Rating: 47 | Prev. Rank: 19

Next Three Weeks: vs. 49ers, vs. Chargers, Bye

Comment: He did not play due to a sore hamstring, and the offense functioned just fine without him.

20. Ryan Tannehill, Tennessee Titans

Record: 5-2 | QB Rating: 49.7 | Prev. Rank: 20

Next Three Weeks: vs. Packers, at Bengals, at Eagles

Comment: Returned to action and did just enough to beat the Broncos without a big game from Derrick Henry.

21. Andy Dalton, New Orleans Saints

Record: 2-5 | QB Rating: 45.9 | Prev. Rank: 21

Next Three Weeks: vs. Rams, at 49ers, at Buccaneers

Record: 3-6 | QB Rating: 87.1 | Prev. Rank: 22

Next Three Weeks: at Bills, vs. Buccaneers, at Texans

23. Russell Wilson, Denver Broncos

Record: 3-5 | QB Rating: 33 | Prev. Rank: 23

24. Matt Ryan, Indianapolis Colts

Record: 4-3-1 | QB Rating: 44.7 | Prev. Rank: NR

Next Three Weeks: vs. Eagles, vs. Steelers, at Cowboys

Next Three Weeks: vs. Ravens, at Lions, at Titans

29. Marcus Mariota, Atlanta Falcons

Record: 4-6 | QB Rating: 59.2 | Prev. Rank: 28

Next Three Weeks: vs. Bears, at Commanders, vs. Steelers
