Technical

Does he have a refined skill set? Is he a projection or is his game developed enough to contribute early?

Mitchell is an effective pass blocker due to his athleticism and technique on his vertical sets. He looks comfortable changing direction on the edge while mirroring pass rushers. In the run game, he positions his hips and hands well to seal off gaps. He sees the field well when pulling and understands how to turn up field to engage 2nd level defenders. Mitchell lacks the core strength and thickness to really anchor down against strong bull rushers. His hand positioning and foot speed help make up for the lack power behind his hands/anchor. His disposition overall is as a moderate effort blocker who doesn;t show too much of a nasty streak.

Summary

What role does he play? What is his initial projection?
Mitchell is a R-JR who started 37 games switching between both tackle positions in his career. He projects as a back up swing-tackle his first year that needs to develop his strength/weight for the NFL level. He has the feet, agility and instincts to be effective but is missing the power/strength to have an immediate impact.
