Kinnard is an above the line run blocker due to his heavy hand strikes and the leverage he uses in this part of the game. His steps are strong which times up his hands/hips on impact. He plays with a mean streak that makes him a violent blocker. He shows adeuqtae pass protection on his quick sets but is limited when it comes to setting vertically. He can use his length to tie up edge rushers but his foot speed limits him. He survives on the edge when kick stepping instead of controllering the pace. His anchor allows him to use his play strength to maintain the pocket edge depth. He wins when he can combine his length and strength.
