While the Chicago Bears brought in a massive haul of draft picks – Nos. 9 and 61 this year, plus a future first and second – in dealing the No. 1 overall selection to the Carolina Panthers, one of the biggest pieces of the deal was wide receiver D.J. Moore, who was the top option for Carolina the last five seasons, and assumes that role in Chicago now. Moore is an excellent receiver with three 1,000-yard seasons so far in his career, but he still does not give Chicago an elite play-maker at the position.
