Anthony Richardson, one of the top four quarterbacks in the 2023 NFL Draft, is scheduled to meet with six teams after the Florida Gators’ pro day on Thursday, theScore reported.
Richardson (scouting report) will meet with the Carolina Panthers, Indianapolis Colts, Tennessee Titans, Las Vegas Raiders, Atlanta Falcons and Baltimore Ravens. Rick Spielman, an analyst for The 33rd Team, expected Richardson to perform well.
“I think Anthony Richardson will put on a show,” Spielman said. “I think he will do all of his throwing drills. He’s had from the combine till now to work on his technique. I expect him to make quite an impression on people as they leave the University of Florida.”
Richardson didn’t disappoint, as he demonstrated his arm strength throughout the workout.

The Panthers hold the No. 1 pick, so it’s not surprising they’re meeting with Richardson. Carolina also attended the pro days of the draft’s other top quarterbacks, Bryce Young (scouting report), C.J. Stroud (scouting report) and Will Levis (scouting report). Richardson reportedly had dinner with the Panthers on Wednesday night.
While Richardson was expected to meet with the Panthers, the Ravens speaking with Richardson is more surprising. Baltimore could be preparing for life without Lamar Jackson, who publicly requested a trade on Monday. No team has stepped up as a contender for Jackson, and the Ravens have remained committed to re-signing the former MVP.
Richardson and Jackson have similar play styles, making the Gators’ prospect a logical replacement if Jackson leaves.
Richardson is looking to build on his historic NFL Combine performance from earlier this month. He became the first quarterback weighing more than 230 pounds to run sub-4.5s in the 40-yard dash.
The 33rd Team’s scouting department has Richardson rated as the 14th overall player on its big board and predicted the Falcons would trade up to No. 6 to select him in its latest mock draft.
