Cleveland Browns NFL Draft Grades 2023: Dawand Jones Big Day 3 Steal

The 2023 NFL Draft is complete, and the Cleveland Browns made a total of six picks.

The Browns were without a pick in the first two rounds of the draft, but they still managed to pick up a couple of solid players. Cleveland is hoping this group of players can help QB Deshaun Watson return to form this season.

Browns 2023 NFL Draft Grade

74. Cedric Tillman, WR, Tennessee

With the Browns' first pick in this draft, they selected wide receiver Cedric Tillman. Tillman is a big, long outside receiver who runs good routes for his size and can go up and snatch the ball out of the air. Tillman does not have big-time explosiveness, but he should be a solid player in the NFL.

Grade: A

98. Siaki Ika, DL, Baylor

Siaki Ika gives the Browns much-needed help against the run. He provides the size and strength to hold up bodies and clog lanes. The Browns' run defense needed a player with more run-defending ability upfront, and Ika is that player.

Grade: B

111. Dawand Jones, OT, Ohio State

This is an excellent pick by the Browns. Dawand Jones (scouting report) is a huge man with length that can move people off the line of scrimmage. For his size, Jones moves well and will bring depth to this unit.

Grade: A+

126.  Isaiah McGuire, Edge, Missouri

Cleveland adds a good piece to their defense in Isaiah McGuire (scouting report) who can set edges and create knockbacks versus blockers.

Grade: B+

140. Dorian Thompson-Robinson, QB, UCLA

Dorian Thompson-Robinson (scouting report) is an athletic quarterback with speed, quickness, and outstanding balance to stay on his feet. He lacks ideal size for the position but is a good complement to Watson.

Grade: B-

142. Cameron Mitchell, CB, Northwestern

Cameron Mitchell (scouting report) has just average size and length. His play speed is above average but not off the charts. He does have good ball skills and awareness. Had a team-high nine pass breakups at Northwestern.

Grade: C

190. Luke Wypler, OC, Ohio State

The Browns have had some injuries at the center position. Luke Wypler (scouting report) does not have any rare traits but was a solid producer. He's a smart player who plays with good effort and technique.

Grade: B+
