NFL Week 4 News and Notes
Packers CB Alexander (Groin) Questionable to Play
Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander was downgraded to a DNP on Thursday but got in a limited session today. His status for Week 4 is up in the air. He was officially listed as questionable.
Ravens RB Dobbins (Chest) Will Play vs. Bills
JK Dobbins made his debut last week, but was placed on the injury report in Baltimore earlier this week. However, he has officially been removed from the injury report and will play in Week 4.
Cowboys WR Gallup (ACL) Full Participant in Practice
Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup will make his season debut in Week 4 against the Commanders. Gallup is recovering from a torn ACL he suffered late last season.
Patriots QB Jones (Ankle) Declared OUT
Patriots quarterback Mac Jones suffered an ankle sprain last week. After some speculation about his availability to play, Jones was declared OUT on Friday against the Packers. Brian Hoyer will start in his place.
Chargers WR Allen (Hamstring) Declared OUT
After missing practice this week while recovering from injury, Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen has officially been declared OUT for Week 4.
Bears RB Montgomery (Ankle/Knee), CB Johnson OUT for Sunday
Bears running back David Montgomery has not practiced this week after his injuries sustained last week against the Texans. The Bears officially declared him OUT on Friday. Khalil Herbert is expected to replace him. Cornerback Jaylon Johnson, a critical part of their secondary, is also OUT for their Week 4 matchup against the Giants.
Lions RB Swift (Shoulder), WR St. Brown (Ankle) Declared OUT
The Lions have declared both running back D'Andre Swift and wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown OUT for their Week 4 matchup against the Seahawks.
Panthers RB McCaffrey (Quad) Limited in Practice
Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey was limited in practice on Friday with a quad injury, but the team is optimistic he'll play Week 4.
Multiple Saints Out, QB Winston Doubtful to Play
The Saints announced Friday that wide receiver Michael Thomas was OUT for Week 4. Additionally, safety Marcus Maye and guard Andrus Peat are also OUT for this week. Jameis Winston is doubtful to play this weekend.
