Titans' Henry Full Participant in Practice

Running back Derrick Henry was a full participant in practice for the second straight day, likely meaning he will play against the Jaguars on Saturday, ESPN reported.

Henry missed the team's Week 17 loss against the Cowboys due to a hip injury. The Titans can win the division with a win again the Jaguars, but they will miss the playoffs with a loss.

Fields' Season, Run at History Over

The Bears are starting Nathan Peterman in place of Justin Fields against the Vikings in Week 18, coach Matt Eberflus told reporters. Eberflus said Fields self-reported a hip injury this week.

Fields, who has also battled through a shoulder injury this season, finishes the season just 64 yards shy of Lamar Jackson's single-season quarterback rushing record.

Kyler Murray May Miss Start of 2023 Season

Kyler Murray will "probably" not be ready to play in Week 1 of the 2023 NFL regular season, Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury told reporters on Wednesday.

Murray suffered a torn ACL in Week 14 against the Patriots. He announced that he had undergone successful surgery to repair the damage earlier on Wednesday. The team initially hoped Murray would be able to play the entire 2023 regular season, but that appears unlikely given Kingsbury's candid exchange.

Ravens-Bengals Gets Time Slot

Sunday's matchup between the Ravens and Bengals will be played at 1:00 p.m. ET, the teams announced.

With no decision made yet on the official outcome of the Bengals-Bills game from Monday, the significance of the game for the Ravens remains up in the air.

The Bengals currently have the NFC North lead and can secure the division with a win. The Ravens have already secured a playoff spot but whether they have a chance to win the division with a victory over the Bengals is yet to be determined.

Howell Expected to Make Debut

The Commanders are making another quarterback change. They'll be starting rookie Sam Howell at quarterback in Week 18, the team announced.

The Commanders were eliminated from playoff contention last week after they decided to start Carson Wentz, who threw three interceptions in a loss to the Browns. Howell was a fifth-round pick out of North Carolina and had a successful college career. He threw for 92 touchdowns, 10,283 yards passing and added 1,009 yards rushing plus 17 touchdowns on the ground.

Jackson's Status Unclear for Ravens

Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson's status for Sunday's game against the Bengals remains unclear after he missed practice on Wednesday.

"I’m just going to leave all that stuff alone and focus on the game and have the guys ready for the game," coach John Harbaugh told reporters.

If Jackson doesn't play this week it would mark his fifth missed game with the PCL injury he suffered last month. The Ravens have still managed to clinch a playoff spot without him, but their offense has been underwhelming while he's been out.

Bears Extend St. Brown

The Bears agreed to a one-year contract extension with wide receiver and The 33rd Team analyst Equanimeous St. Brown, NFL Media reported. St. Brown's deal is worth a reported $1.25 million and ties him to the team until 2024.

Brown has 20 catches for 320 yards and one touchdown this season.

Dolphins Preparing Without Top QBs

The Dolphins are preparing to play Week 18 against the Jets without Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) and Teddy Bridgewater (dislocated pinky), ESPN reported. The Dolphins will likely start Skylar Thompson, who has appeared in six games and made one start this season. The team also signed Mike Glennon to its practice squad.

The Dolphins are 8-8 and can make the playoffs with a win against the Jets and a Patriots loss to the Bills.

Murray Undergoes Knee Surgery

Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray underwent successful knee surgery on Tuesday, NFL Media reported.  It remains unclear whether Murray will be available for the Cardinals by the beginning of the 2023 season.

Murray's surgery also included some work done to "clean up" his meniscus.

Eagles Designate Impact Defenders to Return

The Eagles designated safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson and pass rusher Robert Quinn to return from injured reserve, coach Nick Sirianni told reporters. Gardner-Johnson suffered a lacerated kidney in late November, and Quinn was suffering from a minor knee injury.

Chiefs Activate Hardman

The Chiefs activated wide receiver Mecole Hardman from injured reserve, ESPN reported. Hardman missed the last five games with what the Chiefs called an abdomen illness and injury.

Vikings Place Starter on IR

The Vikings placed starting right tackle Brian O'Neill on injured reserve after suffering an Achilles tear against the Packers, NFL Media reported. O'Neill has been a mainstay up front for the Vikings as the team has climbed toward the top of the NFC this season.

Hopkins Ruled Out, Blough to Start

Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins won't play in Sunday's season finale against the San Francisco 49ers, coach Kliff Kingsbury told reporters. Hopkins is dealing with a knee injury that will hold him out of the game.

Additionally, the team will start David Blough at quarterback for the second straight week. Blough was signed late in the season and completed 60% of his passes for 222 yards and one touchdown against the Falcons last week.

Cowboys Cut Washington

The Cowboys have released wide receiver James Washington, NFL Media reported. Washington's release comes with the emergence of recently acquired free-agent wide receiver T.Y. Hilton.

Washington signed a one-year deal with the Cowboys this summer, but he suffered a broken foot in training camp, costing him the first 13 weeks of the season.
