Cowboys Open Smith's Practice Window

Cowboys left tackle Tyron Smith will begin practicing this week after missing every game this season due to tearing his hamstring in the preseason, ESPN reported. Smith has three weeks to return to action before he has to be placed on injured reserve for the rest of the season.

The 33rd Team analysts and former offensive linemen Joe Thomas and Mitchell Schwartz believe Cowboys fans need to temper their expectations for Smith.

Cowboys' Elliot Disciplined

Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy started running back Tony Pollard on Sunday because Ezekiel Elliot was late to a meeting and had his phone go off in a meeting, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones told reporters.

Elliot still carried the ball 17 times for 77 yards in Sunday night's win against the Colts.
