Donald Officially Out Week 13

Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald will miss Week 13 due to a high ankle sprain, ESPN reported. The game will be the first Donald has missed due to injury in his entire nine-year NFL career.

Currently at 3-8 and in last place in the NFC West, the Rams have little reason to rush Donald back.

Pitts Out for Season

Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts had knee surgery on Tuesday and will miss the remainder of the season, the team announced. Pitts suffered an MCL sprain in the team's Week 11 win against the Chicago Bears.

Pitts had just 28 catches for 356 yards receiving and two touchdowns this season after recording 68 catches and 1,026 yards as a rookie in 2021.

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers did not practice on Wednesday as he deals with thumb and rib injuries, ESPN reported. Rodgers told the Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday he expects to play in the Packers' game against the Bears on Sunday, something coach Matt LaFleur confirmed on Wednesday.

Rodgers left Sunday's game against the Eagles with the ribs injury and was replaced by Jordan Love, who finished six-of-nine for 113 yards and one touchdown. The 33rd Team analyst Trey Wingo believes the Packers should start Love regardless of Rodgers' health.

Dilfer Takes UAB Job

Former Super Bowl winning quarterback Trent Dilfer has officially accepted the head coaching job at the University of Alabama-Birmingham, ESPN reported. Dilfer was previously the head coach at Lipscomb Academy, a private high school in Nashville, Tennessee.

UAB finished last season at 6-6, and their previous coach, Bill Clark, stepped down for medical reasons in June. Dilfer will coach the Blazers in their first season in the American Athletic Conference.

Ravens' OC Is Candidate for Stanford Job

Ravens offensive coordinator Greg Roman spoke to Stanford University about the program's head coaching vacancy, The Athletic reported. Roman was a member of Jim Harbaugh's staff there from 2009 to 2010 when he coached the tight ends and offensive tackles.

Roman has been the Ravens' offensive coordinator since 2019. During his Ravens tenure, their offenses have finished first, 19th and sixth through three full seasons.

The Cardinal finished 3-9 in 2022, including a 1-8 record in the PAC-12. Former coach David Shaw stepped down at the end of the 2022 season after 12 years at the helm.

Davis' Practice Window Open

The Eagles are close to getting rookie first-round pick Jordan Davis back on the field. The young defensive tackle's 21-day practice window was opened on Wednesday, and he could play this week against the Titans, ESPN reported.

The Eagles signed free agents Linval Joseph and Ndamukong Suh to help replace Davis since he was so integral to their run defense. Davis would have to be officially activated before the team's Dec. 24 game against the Cowboys to play again this season.

Chase Confirms Week 13 Return

Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase confirmed early reports he expects to play in the team's Week 13 game against the Chiefs. Chase has been out since the team's Week 6 win against the Saints with a hip injury.

Bills Rule Out Two Starters for TNF

The Bills will be without left tackle Dion Dawkins and pass rusher Von Miller against the Patriots on Thursday night, the team announced. Miller has a lateral meniscus tear he suffered during the Bills' win against the Lions on Thanksgiving, but he hopes to return in Week 14 against the Jets.

Dawkins did not practice at all this week due to an ankle injury he suffered against the Lions that caused him to miss the second half of the game.

Patriots' Harris Out for TNF

Patriots running back Damien Harris won't play on Thursday night against the Bills, the team announced. Harris has been in and out of the lineup this season, but New England has found some stability with Rhamondre Stevenson as the lead running back.

Offensive tackle Isaiah Wynn was also ruled out for Thursday's game.

Dobbins Almost Back

Ravens running back JK Dobbins returned to practice on Wednesday opening his 21-day window to return from injured reserve, the team announced. Dobbins was placed on injured reserve in October when he underwent arthroscopic knee surgery.

He missed the entire 2021 season with a torn ACL, LCL, meniscus and hamstring. Dobbins has only played in four games this season as the Ravens have relied on the likes of Gus Edwards, Kenyan Drake and Justice Hill at running back.

Dolphins' OT's Status Uncertain

The Dolphins are likely to be without starting right tackle Austin Jackson, who injured the same ankle that kept him of action since Week 1, McDaniel told reporters.

Toney Still Not Practicing
