Jets Saleh Won't Commit to Wilson as Starter

Three weeks after committing to quarterback Zach Wilson for the rest of the season, Jets coach Robert Saleh would not say on Monday who his Week 12 starter would be against the Chicago Bears.

"We're keeping everything on the table over the next couple of days," Saleh said one day after calling his offense's performance in a 10-3 loss against the Patriots "dog(expletive)."

Saleh, who said he's still evaluating his alternatives at quarterback as well as other positions on offense, didn't rule out Mike White or Joe Flacco as possible replacements.

"When you put up 100 yards of offense, I don't care how good New England is — and they are good — it's unacceptable," Saleh said. "It's not NFL football."

Fields Day-to-Day With Dislocated Shoulder

Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields is dealing with a dislocated left shoulder, NFL Media reported Monday night. Earlier in the day, Bears coach Matt Eberflus would not rule out Fields' season being over. The later report even indicates that Fields might be able to suit up for the team's Week 12 contest against the New York Jets.

Fields suffered the injury in the team's loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday and was seen being carted to the locker room holding his shoulder following the end of the game.

Broncos Waive Melvin Gordon III

The Denver Broncos waived running back Melvin Gordon III on Monday, following the team's Week 11 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders, according to the team. Gordon fumbled yet again in the loss, his fifth fumble of the season.

Gordon has spent each of the last three seasons in Denver but will now have a chance for a fresh start with a new team.

Murray Inactive, Moore Injured During Cards-49ers

The Arizona Cardinals turned to quarterback Colt McCoy for the second consecutive week. Initially reported by NFL Media that he might miss the team's Monday night game, Murray led Arizona's list of inactives prior to kickoff. Kyler Murray is still recovering from a hamstring injury, so McCoy was the starter when Arizona began their game against the San Fransisco 49ers Monday night.

The Cardinals' offense lost another of its most exciting players mid-game, when receiver Rondale Moore was knocked out in the first quarter with a groin injury. His return was questionable.

Pitts Added to IR

Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts is believed to have suffered a torn MCL and will be placed on injured reserve forcing him to miss at least four games, NFL Media reported. The second-year tight end had additional MRIs to confirm the diagnosis on Monday.

Pitts was injured during the team's win against the Chicago Bears on Sunday after a Bears' defender hit Pitts in the knee with his helmet.

Commanders Activate Young

The Washington Commanders activated pass rusher Chase Young from injured reserve onto the 53-man roster on Monday, the team announced.

Young tore his ACL in Nov. 2021 and hasn't played since. The former second-overall pick, reportedly, needs a full good week of practice before he returns to the field. The Commanders play the Atlanta Falcons this coming Sunday.

Jameson Williams Returns to Practice

Detriot Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams, a first-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, will return to practice today, according to the team. Williams has yet to make his NFL debut after suffering a torn ACL in the 2021 College Football Playoff National Championship game in Jan. 2022.

Giants' Robinson Out for Season

New York Giants rookie wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson suffered a torn ACL during the team's Week 11 loss to the Detroit Lions and will miss the remainder of the 2022 season, according to The Athletic. Robinson was a second-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft and was emerging as a reliable pass-catching option for the 7-3 Giants.

Before leaving the game against Detroit, Robinson recorded nine catches for 100 yards receiving.

Adoree' Jackson Out 4-6 Weeks

New York Giants cornerback Adoree' Jackson will miss the next 4-6 weeks with an MCL sprain, according to NFL Media. Jackson was injured while returning a punt in the Giants' Week 11 loss to the Detroit Lions.

The Giants will take on the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday in a Week 12 matchup that could have major implications for the NFC playoff race.

Chase Edmonds to Miss Multiple Weeks

Denver Broncos recently acquired running back Chase Edmonds will miss time after suffering a high-ankle sprain during the team's Week 11 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders, according to NFL Media. A timetable for Edmonds' return has yet to be established.

Giovani Bernard Designated to Return

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers designated running back Giovani Bernard to return from injured reserve on Monday, according to ESPN. Bernard could be activated and return to play at any point in the next three weeks.

The Buccaneers were on a bye in Week 11 but return on Sunday to take on the Browns in Cleveland.

Saints' Payton Turner Sprains Ankle, Avoids Serious Injury

X-rays on the ankle of Saints' pass-rusher Payton Turner came back negative on Monday, per NFL Media. Despite initially fearing that he may have damaged the ankle significantly, it now appears he may only be dealing with a sprain. Turner will undergo further evaluation on Monday to determine the extent of the injury.

Patriots Resign Vizcaino to Practice Squad

The New England Patriots resigned kicker Tristan Vizcaino to their practice squad on Monday, according to NFL Media. Vizcaino played for the Arizona Cardinals in Week 10, converting on all five kicks he attempted.
