The Minnesota Vikings were one of only five teams to win at least 13 games in 2022, thanks in large part to an offense that helped them win a record 11 one-score games. Quarterback Kirk Cousins matched an NFL record with eight fourth-quarter comebacks, so the offense is not the problem. If Minnesota is going to improve upon its 2022, Rich Gannon notes, it needs to continue adding personnel on defense, even after the signings of edge Marcus Davenport, cornerback Byron Murphy Jr., and defensive lineman Dean Lowry.
