Friday’s deal between the Carolina Panthers and Chicago Bears for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft sent a couple of messages across the league: Carolina believes it can find a franchise quarterback in this year’s draft, and the Chicago Bears are going to try and help Justin Fields succeed as their signal-caller.
