Notable NFL Lineup Changes Around the NFL

Notable NFL Lineup Changes

Cleveland WR Donovan Peoples-Jones is set to return to the starting lineup after Odell Beckham Jr. was released from the team. Peoples-Jones has seen just 306 snaps this season and has just 15 targets—but has 13 receptions, 228 yds, 2 TDs, and 10 TDs. He’s returning from injury at the perfect time.

Minnesota DT Michael Pierce is expected to return to play against his former team. Pierce has not played since Week 4 but will be needed, as Baltimore leads the league in heavy personnel plays (13, 21, 22). Expect Pierce to see almost all of the snaps.

Detroit made a change in their secondary. After struggling at FS to begin the year, Will Harris played all of his snaps in the slot against the Eagles in Week 8. Harris is replacing injured AJ Parker in the slot and Dean Marlowe has taken over at Safety.

Kansas City moved Chris Jones from IDL to EDGE this season. After acquiring Melvin Ingram from the Steelers for a 6th round pick, expect to see Jones move back inside more, especially on passing downs.
