Saturday

Colts (4-8-1) at Vikings (10-3)

  • Opening Spread: Vikings -4
  • Opening Game Total: 47.5
  • Opening Team Totals: Vikings (25.75) Colts (21.75)
  • Weather: Dome

Line Report

  • This line opened as Vikings -4.
  • This line has moved to Vikings -4.5.
  • This total opened at 47.5 points.
  • This total has moved to 48.5 points.

Bottom Line

The Vikings are in a bounceback spot after losing to the Lions last week, while Indianapolis is playing for little more than pride in this contest. I’m not going to play this game against the spread, but I’ve bet on Dalvin Cook’s over 69.5 yards rushing and I’m on board with the Matt Ryan plays from Josh Larky and Ben Wolby that you can find here.

Ravens (9-4) at Browns (5-8)

  • Opening Spread: Browns -2.5
  • Opening Game Total: 37.5
  • Opening Team Totals: Browns (20), Ravens (17.5)
  • Weather: Outdoors, rain expected. Wind isn’t a problem now, but it should be monitored.

Line Report

  • This line opened as Browns -2.5.
  • This line remains at Browns -2.5.
  • This total opened at 37.5 points.
  • This total remains at 37.5 points.

Bottom Line

Lamar Jackson has been ruled out, while Tyler Huntley is now out of the concussion protocol and off the injury report. Huntley’s availability gives the Ravens a better shot of winning this game than if they had to start third-string quarterback Anthony Brown. Deshaun Watson was notably better against the Bengals last week than he was in Houston the week before. If that type of progress continues in this contest, the Browns are going to be a tough out for the Ravens. I lean toward the Browns' side ATS, while we bet a few different props in this contest here.

Dolphins (8-5) at Bills (10-3)

  • Opening Spread: Bills -7.5
  • Opening Game Total: 43
  • Opening Team Totals: Bills (25.25) Dolphins (17.75)
  • Weather: Outdoors, high chance of snow

Line Report

  • This line opened as Bills -7.5.
  • This line is down to Bills -6.5.
  • This total opened at 43 points.
  • This total has moved to 42.5 points.

Bottom Line

There is a winter storm watch in Buffalo for this contest where heavy snow, cold temperatures, and sustained winds around 15 mph can be expected. Light snow might actually favor Miami’s elite speed on offense, while heavy snow that sticks would slow down everyone in this matchup, which would be better for Buffalo. If winds begin to trend up from their current projections, that's better for Buffalo than Miami. Bills -7.5 was a bizarrely high line in this contest, but with Tua Tagovailoa’s recent struggles and this potentially impactful weather, I’m going to stay away from this game against the spread. I bet Jaylen Waddle’s over yards receiving, though my enthusiasm on that selection has been reduced by these increased weather concerns.
