Week 9: Top-10 NFL Offenses Right Now

The 33rd Team’s weekly top-10 offensive rankings are derived through an evaluation by our scouting department, led by former NFL team executive T.J. McCreight and assisted by scouts Justin Casey, Kevin Cohn and Evan Pritt.

>>> Other Week 9 Rankings: QB | RB | WR | Defense

1. Buffalo Bills

PPG: 29 (2nd) | YPG: 430.6 (1st)  | Prev: 1

Comment: Josh Allen did not put up the numbers he usually puts up, and he turned the ball over twice, but the Bills ran the ball for 153 yards vs Green Bay and controlled the game more than the score indicated.  They are tops in the NFL with 430 total yards per game.

2. Kansas City Chiefs

PPG: 31.9 (1st) | YPG: 403.3 (2nd) | Prev: 2

Comment: They had their bye week. Next up, is a battle vs the Tennessee Titans.

3. Philadelphia Eagles

PPG: 28 (3rd) | YPG: 395.4 (3rd) | Prev: 3

Comment: The Eagles' quarterback play was just about as good as it gets and A.J. Brown scored three TDs in their victory over Pittsburgh.  They average just more than 395 yards per game, which is third in the NFL.

4. Miami Dolphins

PPG: 22.3 (16th) | YPG: 380.6 (7th) | Prev: 9

Comment: With Tua Tagovailoa back in sync, they are a nightmare for opposing defenses to handle.

5. Seattle Seahawks

PPG: 26.3 (4th) | YPG: 352.1 (12th) | Prev: 4

Comment: They weren’t as explosive as they have been, but they put up 27 points against a solid New York Giants defense.

6. Los Angeles Chargers

PPG: 23.4 (11th) | YPG: 368.3 (8th) | Prev: 6

Comment: They had their bye week. Next up is a battle against the Atlanta Falcons.

7. Baltimore Ravens

PPG: 26 (5th) | YPG: 359.4 (10th) | Prev: 7

Comment: They pounded the Buccaneers on the ground in the second half and unleashed a new offensive weapon in rookie TE Isaiah Likely.

8. Cincinnati Bengals

PPG: 23.3 (13th) | YPG: 349 (13th) | Prev: 5

Comment: They could not get going against the Browns without WR Ja’Marr Chase, who is working his way back from a hip injury. When they can’t protect QB Joe Burrow, things get ugly.

9. San Francisco 49ers

PPG: 22 (19th) | YPG: 356.6 (11th) | Prev: NR

Comment: They are trending up as they fully integrate newly acquired RB Christian McCaffrey into the offense.

10. New Orleans Saints

PPG: 24.9 (8th) | YPG: 394.4 (5th) | Prev: NR

Comment: They are fifth in offensive points scored despite lots of injuries and uncertainty at quarterback.
