Each conference championship game this weekend featured controversial calls from officials. Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith was awarded a fourth down catch even though the replay showed he dropped the ball. While the Kansas City Chiefs got in position for a game-winning field goal thanks to a personal foul and got away with what some claim was holding. But, Joe Thomas and Mitchell Schwartz agree, of the factors that go into winning and losing, focusing on the impact of the referees is a “weak-minded” approach.
