Buccaneers, Rams Look Nothing Like Super Bowl Contenders After Week 9 Showings

Tom Brady’s game-winning drive with under 10 seconds left aside, Sunday’s game was more of the same from both the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Los Angeles Rams: Decorated teams playing far below the expectation coming off of recent Super Bowl championships. After a game where the offenses again looked bad and neither team had the appearance of a true contender, it leaves both teams in an unexpected spot: Tampa Bay trying to cling to some momentum to stay at the top of the NFC South, and Los Angeles questioning whether their season is already over, one year after winning it all.
