It’s safe to say that a veteran coach who made the playoffs in his first stint as a head coach and won two Super Bowls as a defensive coordinator would be in high demand, right?

Strangely enough, not so much.

Former Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum shared this story about how many times Bill Belichick was interviewed for a head coaching job in the three years prior to getting hired by the Patriots in 2000.
