Thomas Davis is a former NFL linebacker who played 16 seasons in the league (2005-2020). Davis was named an All-Pro in 2015, was named to three Pro Bowls and was named Walter Payton Man of the Year in 2014 as recognition for his excellence on and off the field.
Davis spent the majority of his career with the Carolina Panthers, who drafted him 14th overall in the 2005 NFL Draft. Davis and the Panthers appeared in Super Bowl 50, where the linebacker recorded seven tackles. Davis also played one season each with the Los Angeles Chargers and the Washington Football Team.
Davis finished his career with 1,216 tackles, 29 sacks, 18 forced fumbles and 13 interceptions. Throughout his career, Davis recovered from three ACL tears, which had not been done by any other professional athlete.
Davis attended the University of Georgia where he was both consensus All-American and First-team All-SEC in 2004.
Davis was raised in the state of Georgia and was a four-sport athlete in football, baseball, basketball, and track in high school.
